“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course in May 2020. This is more than a fluff course -- there is a lot of good information and techniques that can be used when teaching. The suggested resources provided by the academy are invaluable for finding material to use in the classroom and making sure the level and language is properly graded for your particular class level. This class provides you opportunities to go through the planning process. It's good to go through the entire planning process in detail to make you think about what resources you need to be effective in your class (though it would not be practical to plan to that level of detail on a daily basis). Be aware, the assignments will take quite a bit of time if you are new to the teaching field. I highly recommend you leave yourself plenty of time to complete them. The graders do an excellent job giving feedback on where you can improve. Expect a 5 to 7 business day turn around for feedback before you can make corrections or submit the next assignment. Overall, I enjoyed the class and would recommend it to anyone seeking a TEFL certification.”

“The TEFL academy is a very good choice as their units are informative and interesting. They give proper feedback once you have completed an assignment which is great as they give pointers as to where you can improve and what you have done well. I definitely recommend them!”

“I completed the 168 hour online TEFL course two days ago and it was definitely worth it. I've been teaching English as a second language for about 5 years now, but it was only two months ago that I decided to get an actual qualification. Doing the TEFL course and all the top up courses helped me get the right qualifications to supplement my experience. The modules were interesting and the assignments were challenging--- in a good way! I've always followed a specific methodology, but now I feel like I have the confidence to be more autonomous when creating lesson plans. I'd recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into English teaching and to experienced teachers who want to improve their skills.”

“After comparing and eliminating TEFL options, I chose TEFL Academy's Online Level 5 TEFL course, which is an Ofqual (UK government) regulated qualification. The online course is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I found the course to be very challenging at times, but I have learnt so much and have really enjoyed the challenge. I love teaching and I can't wait to see what new world awaits me as I move forward into teaching on a completely different level, and who knows, perhaps in a completely different country..... one day!”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed completing the TEFL Level 5 Course. I actually learned something that I ordinarily may never have learned! The course and the TEFL website is actually very easy to navigate and understand! It does require a bit of work on your side, but their Tutors and online Q&A system is really very helpful, with a very quick turnaround time! I would definitely recommend TEFL to anyone that is thinking of doing this course... my whole experience has just been extremely positive from the start to the finish...even with COVID-19 rearing its ugly head!!!! Can't wait to start this new adventure.... THANK YOU TEFL ACADEMY!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the level 5 168h hour course. The units are easy to understand while still giving a very in depth overview of both the English language and teaching EFL. The quizzes and activities throughout the online course are very helpful to make sure you understood the content. Similarly, the in class time was invaluable and my only regret is not having done more of the online units before hand, especially because advice in terms of the assignments would have been very helpful. The assignments, while good practice, did seem repetitive and at times I was unsure what they wanted from me. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend it!”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course. The units were well laid out and accessible. I have taken speaking English for granted throughout my life and was pleasantly reintroduced to my own language through this course. I now try to think about how I sound to others and whether I fully use the vocabulary in communication, thereby painting pictures with words and phrases dusted off after partaking in this enlightening instruction opportunity. I will be telling friends and acquaintances to explore this online avenue.”

“I completed the Quali Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language course. This included the 20 hours of practical training as well. The course was very in-depth and covered more material than anticipated. There was always a way to contact the lecturer or administration if assistance was needed, and responses were very prompt. The course went beyond my expectations, shedding light on so many variables to teaching language concerning it being a foreign language. I would recommend the course to anyone specific with TEFL Academy as the certification is recognized internationally, the practical course material and application of it through assignment teaches one allot. At one stage, my access expired, due to the stage I was at assignment c, the academy enabled the paper to be marked and allowed me to finish the course. This was a fantastic thing as very few organizations would offer such assistance. Overall, everything about the course truly is worth the investment. I'm proud to hold a certification from TEFL Academy.”

“I have purchased many TEFL courses but this is the first one that I actually finished. The 168 hour level 5 course is well laid out and easy to navigate. The short unit tests were easy to complete as well. I throughly enjoyed the assignments as they were quite challenging and really made you think as if you were a teacher already. I was also so nervous for the 20 hour in class course as I’m an introvert but it went beyond my expectations. It was very informative and really helped with understanding the assignments and what is expected of me as a future teacher. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.”
