“Hey everyone! I did the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), which includes the weekend workshop. I spent several months completing the course, although I did the workshop very early into things. I highly recommend that. It gets you rolling faster, meaning you have a clearer idea what the online component is all about. Having said that, don't underestimate the depth & length of the 3 assignments. They add a lot more time to the length of your study. At least, they did for me. Smarter students might plow through! The course itself is well-paced & well-structured. Seems to give you a grounding in most, if not all, the things you need to know to teach English to non-English native speakers. The proof will be in the pudding when I/you start teaching. But it gives you lots of confidence & an understanding that once you start teaching the groundwork laid on the course will pay major dividends. Good luck!! - Dean (NZ)”

“This is an online course that you can complete at your own pace within a 6 month period so it’s very flexible. The course covers everything you need to know in order to teach English as a foreign language. Like any online course, it can be challenging to complete coursework because you don’t have a teacher. Overall it’s a good course to get certified!”

“I studied the level 5 (168 hour) course through the TEFL Academy and loved every minute of it! The course was beautifully designed with 10 courses taking you through many difdferent areas of English teaching and preparing you well for teaching life. The in-class aspect was also amazing, learning first hand with great exercises through experienced teachers was an invaluable experience! I would thoroughly recommend the TEFL Academy for a TEFL course in future! Great Pricing as well!”

“The TEFL Academy Level 5 Tefl Course (168 hours) SO HAPPY! Absolutely worth having a TEFL course behind your name. I learnt so much from the course I have done and have recommended it to people and thus far I know 3 people that have already looked in to doing the course. “I recently completed my online Level 5 (168hrs) course and I'm very impressed. The course exceeded my expectations; I feared that it would be uninteresting and simple, but it challenged me effectively and sparked creativity. I appreciate that there assignments to be marked and graded - not just a read-through course with a certificate of completion. This course is achievement-based so I feel confident in my ability to successfully teach children and adults abroad.”

“I wanted to study for a TEFL certificate and I decided to do a ton of research into which organisation to get it through. Although you can find a few providers of budget style TEFL courses, as soon as I came across The TEFL Academy's website and courses, I looked no further. They offered the greatest choice of types of courses that interested me as well as offering both classroom and online options on certain offerings. Along with this, they offer a fantastic level of support - if you have any questions about learning on the course, or if you need some guidance on a particular aspect of an assignment - you just submit a ticket and they generally get back to you in a matter of of hours. In the end, I picked the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and completed it online (I was unable to attend the courses due to my employment) and I have been thoroughly pleased with the entire process. Not only have I earned a valuable qualification, but I genuinely feel like I have learnt a great deal in the process. I will be considering TEFL Academy again for top-up courses in the future.”

“The TEFL Academy is professional and their 168 hour level 5 course is well structured and simple to get into especially since everything you do is online. It is user friendly and straight forward. The assignments are challenging yet not impossible and the feedback from tutors are useful and well analyzed. Would DEFINATELY recommend the TEFL academy to anyone wanting to attain their TEFL certification.”

“The TEFL Level 5 online course allowed me to study at my own pace and gave me the opportunity to change careers in my later years. Living in South Africa has its own challenges e.g. bad postal service. But fortunately TEFL Academy have made provision for that and will post a PDF copy of my certificate to me.”
