“Great course, good value for money, great teachers. Even if you're just looking to teach on a gap year this is a great course for you. The TEFL Academy in Aberdeen was where I studied and I have nothing buy good things to say about them. Put simply - if you're going to do TEFL this is the course to take!”

“I am an enthusiastic traveller and until now have done everything from fruit picking to bar work to pay my way but when I turned 30 it occurred to me that if I wanted to keep up a lifestyle where I get to spend time in different parts of the world it would really help to get a skill set like TEFL. I have to say that 1 year in and it's already improved my quality of life. I get such satisfaction from teaching and the world is my oyster. The course was a good one and I wanted to say thanks!”

“I often find that these sorts of courses sound good in the blurb but in practice turn out to be ways to package up home study courses as actual tuition. That was NOT the case with The TEFL Academy. There were some really helpful hours in the classroom with an excellent teacher and ongoing support with the home study elements that really helped. I am about to take a job in Asia and can't wait to get started.”

“A big thanks to The TEFL Academy. It takes to dedication to become an English teacher and a lot of hard work but as long as you are given the correct support it's an achievable goal. I was working in a pub and now I am the teacher to a classroom of eager students. I feel I have really broadened my horizons. If you need to change your life this is one way to go about it. One good way!”

“I have tried to learn at 3 different TEFL courses over the last 10 years and each time I have given up before completing the course. This was always because I felt that I was just left to get on with it - and teaching yourself is harder than you might think! I am now working in Thailand as an English teacher and it's thanks to the TEFL Academy and their approach. I wanted to say thanks for pushing me to achieve my dream!”

“I have heard of other companies who give you your TEFL then you are left to fend for yourselves. I gained mine through TEFL Academy, applied for a job on their site and now preparing to go to Turkey to teach English as a foreign language. This continuity is what makes this company so great, and 3 of my friends have now also signed up for the course.”

“A year ago I was stuck in an office 12 hours a day going bong eyed in front of a computer screen. Now I hold the TEFL qualification to each English abroad and am off to China in 6 weeks. I have 4 words to say to TEFL; thank you SO much.”

“Just got back from teaching in Dubai for 2 years... The culturAl differences can be hard for a women from England, but when out and about people think u ae a tourist so it's not too bad. Managed to save a deposit for a flat with my boyfriend and travelled round Asia in the holiday. Best 2 years of my life, trying to decide where to go next...”

“I have always struggled with learning programmes in the past but this one was SO easy! The whole set up which allowed me to learn at my own pace was a god send. Anyone wanting to gain a qualification to teach overseas should give TEFL a shot.”
