“I would highly recommend the 120 hour course. The course was essential for me getting my current position as an English teacher in Japan. The course material is extremely detailed and the tests throughout the course help consolidate the skills learnt.”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is extremely well organised and professionally presented. The course content and set up really does ensure that new teachers are trained to a high standard. There is support and guidance available along the way and attending the weekend in-class course is a must. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to be trained to a high standard to teach English as a foreign language. It's challenging and requires commitment and dedication but entirely worth the time and effort! I have gained a professional qualification through a reputable organisation and am excited to discover the doors that will open on this journey.”

“The 168-hour Level 5 online course far exceeded my expectations! I was so impressed by their carefully crafted modules, and particularly by the care they took in simulating realistic classroom interactions. The assignments were difficult enough that they required some creativity and critical thinking, but because of the models I always felt like I was prepared for them. The feedback was prompt and incredibly helpful, and their online ticket system makes it easy to ask questions if anything is unclear. Overall, I feel prepared to teach an EFL class after completing this online course, and I would highly recommend The TEFL Academy!”

“This is a really great course if you want to teach English online or abroad and need a externally validated, level 5 168 hour TEFL certificate, complete a with face to face practicum. This course has obviously been very thoroughly thought through and planned so that learning is logical and sequential, while offering plenty of revision to help you recall it readily. Plus, you can study at your own pace - if I'd tried to absorb all this information in a full time, 4 week CELTA/TESOL course, I'm sure I'd have become overloaded with new knowledge. It was far better to be able to pace myself and do this in my own time. The young learner extension is particularly useful - the majority of the jobs for new EFL teachers are about teaching children so it's a great confidence builder to have some specialist knowledge about how to teach children of different ages before you start. There is also more than enough depth in the course for you to feel confident about creating your own lesson plans and adapt relevant original materials for your students which will allow you and them to bypass the tedium of being tied to a set text book. You will have already learned about the nature of many of the work opportunities through the course itself but the jobs section which you get on completing your final assignment is also both comprehensive and helpful. The emphasis on making teaching and learning both fun and relevant to learners is a particularly valuable lesson and will help to make any EFL teacher using it permanently in demand! Really glad I chose The TEFL Academy - money extremely well spent!”

“I’ve completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and I’m very happy that I decided to go through the real study course! Since I’ve been looking for some offline and face-to-face courses back in Moscow but they were so expensive and long-term! The course allowed me to study as mush as I could, have flexible hours and really read into the material. I’d suggest my fellow colleagues to go through TEFL academy courses - especially for those who are going to China - Chinese schools really appreciate the English certificates(UK and USA). That’s for sure Thank you !”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is a perfect for anyone who hasn't had much experience with teaching. It gave me a lot of confidence and I felt more comfortable in the classroom. Although, I had already begun to teach before I completed this course, I feel like this course shaped the way that I handled my classes and how I got the students to connect with what was being taught. There are many courses that are cheaper than this course however I don't feel like they would have prepared me as much and so I am grateful that I decided to do this course.”

“I successfully completed the 168 hour online TEFL Academy course and it was so easy to follow. The online course fitted very neatly into my busy work schedule. They had a very relaxed starter weekend that answered all my questions and expectations going into the online course. Very easy to setup and access my online account. “I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). The whole process from start to finish was very easy and user-friendly. The company came back to me within a day or two. The feedback from the lecturers on my assignments was also very useful and encouraging. The course was easy to understand, but not so easy that it didn't challenge me at times. I feel that I have learned new skills and definitely grown as a person. I am looking forward to using my new skills in the near future. Thank you.”

The in-class component is informative and invaluable to your understanding of the online theory component of the course. “I have recently completed my level 5 TEFL (168hrs) course through the TEFL academy and have had absolutely no problems. The time limit of 6 months is definitely more than sufficient, everything in the course is explained thoroughly, feedback on assignments are done after 5 working days. Can't wait to start teaching English! Would recommend this course to anyone considering teaching English abroad.”

“My name is Ivona Tatarova. I have just finished studying the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). As I graduated last year from high school, studying languages (French and Russian), I was not extremely satisfied with the means of teaching my professors had, especially concerning languages. I knew there was a better way to convey the knowledge to the students. That is why I decided research ways to do it and end up taking the course. I am extremely grateful to say that I found all the things I have been looking for. It is not the basic, dull way of teaching method most people would expect to see. It gives a clear idea of what it means to be a teacher in English. Not only a teacher, but a great one, one that students would enjoy having. There are a variety of helpful methods and techniques to make the lessons interesting, intriguing, fun, exciting and memorable for the students, which in my opinion is ultimately the goal of a good lesson,. The material is structured in an easily absorbed and comprehensive way, there are a lot of references and resources to use, as well as additional information. Moreover, the assignments actually make you put yourself in the position off a teacher, to research the material, to think about your students and their needs. It gives an actual overlook of what a preparation for a real lesson really means- time, idea,consideration, research while simultaneously having in mind your desire to give the optimal lesson to your students. It was a great and helpful experience that helped me clear my vision and idea and gave me a profound knowledge I would be always grateful for.”
