“I found the information to be be clear and very well laid out and understandable. I am not from a teaching background so was a little wary at first, but soon got into the swing of the course and the material provided by TEFL helped with that. Also the tutors that mark the assignments were excellent and provided some fantastic feedback and advice on the assignments, which I found very helpful for all the assignments. On the whole I found this course to be very good and I am looking forward to starting my career teaching English as a second language.”

“It was the best online couseuse for TEFL lessons. The lessons were great, very apprehensive with lots of exercise to put to practice. As well as the assignments, which were a little demanding but nevertheless appropriate and necessary for the comprehension of the course. I loved it :)”

“The TEFL ACADEMY is a platform where everyone is welcome and ready to learn and become a TEFL teacher. This is definitely the most comprehensive TEFL course out there. The actual course content is precise, grammar is spot on and the soft skills taught are invaluable. Good background information and lots of quality external references empower you to learn so much more than the course itself. I have just successfully completed the Level 5 168 hours online course. It was definitely more challenging than I anticipated, but I feel proud of having successfully achieved certification, after not having studied for 9 years after my degree. The course content is well laid out and presented. The assignments are very challenging for the first-timer like me and require quite a bit of time and planning. I’m looking forward to teaching by next year as I need to finish my current job contract and hopefully, the TEFL Academy will accept me for intern jobs. Overall a great in-depth and rewarding course.”

“The experience I had during the period that I was with The TEFL Academy was very good! The tutors at the Academy was more willing to help me where I lacked and advised to the T! on where I can improve, clarity and thoroughness is what they're about and needless to say, if I should choose a TEFL institution from all over, it would definitely be The TEFL Academy without a second thought! “I had a very good experience despite the distance .It was as if the institution was nearby. The markers would indicate in a professional manner exactly where you need to rectify and it made learning a pleasure. The learning material was very good and easily understandable.”

“So pleased I started this course. It was easy to follow, very informative and I learnt so much from the course. I enjoyed the tests at the end of each unit and the assignments was a very useful way to test your practical knowledge. “I did the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) online and I am very impressed with this academy. It was an insightful course, I've learned a lot. It was challenging enough to ensure that you have to think about certain things, but I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to becoming part of the online teaching community. Thank you to all the lectures (Linda Herbert, Rene Janse van Rensburg and Rebecca Brown Forden) that marked my assignments, you have been a great help through the assignments, I really appreciate all the advise.”

“Some 30 years ago, I freelanced teaching English in Italy to single students for approximately 6 years. The TEFL Academy offered some excellent tools to potentially extend that work experience to classroom work. The course was well structured and informative. And support was always at hand. I would genuinely recommend the Level 5 course particularly to ESL teachers aiming at working with groups of students. I also found the fee charged for the course very reasonable for the quality of material offered.”

“I did the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and it was really a good fit for me, relatively cheap and packed with info and tips. Structured nicely and easy to follow. Definitely recommend. I enjoyed the course and it allowed me to start teaching from home immediately, which was my aim.”

“I completed the Level 5 (168 hour) course, as well as the young learners course. I found the courses to be I formative and helpful. The weekend training was also great. The practical activities prepare you well for jobs and was fun. Carmen was great and I met amazing people. TEFL Academy is fantastic, reliable, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend using TEFL academy.”
