“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) within six months, while working full time. The standard of the study material and projects is comparable to that of a university module, while remaining digestible. The website is professional, and the activities throughout each module are great for self-assessment and information retention. I feel prepared to teach English on a theoretical front.”

“The TEFL academy has made my learning experience a valuable and enjoyable one. The academy has provided me with sufficient skills and resources to begin my career as a TEFL teacher. Each learning unit was broken down to ensure efficient learning. The markers who I was assigned to were extremely helpful and they're feedback helped to improve and better my experience. “The course is both well organised and structured. The content is comprehensive and insightful. The website is user-friendly and easily accessible. For the record, I think the instructions for the assignments themselves would benefit from greater clarity (i.e. one master set of instructions rather than individual ones where there may be inconsistency between them - ref. Assignment C). The online (email) support is both responsive and very helpful. I also participated in the on-site Classroom course which was well-planned and both enjoyable and informative. Overall, an extremely well-organised course which I would recommend to others.”

“I have just completed the TEFL level 5 (168 hours) course. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend the TEFL academy and this course to anyone. I liked the fact that it combines the online and classroom components. The online part was easy to follow and the assignments were challenging but really helped with putting into practice what was taught in the different units. Getting to know other students and practicing a bit of teaching in the classroom part was invaluable. I look forward to what the new adventures are in store with this new qualification. Thank you TEFL academy”

“Overall the course was well designed and provided me with all the tools I need to get started as an ESL teacher. “I'm a icu nursing sister and have always wanted to do the tefl course but felt this course would be to intimidating for me considering I have been nursing for 16yrs. I would recommend everyone to do it... It was broken down into small modules that were taught in a unique manner and not overwhelming in the least... I understood everything and where I got stuck the tutor was amazing in how he showed me where I could improve and make changes. The academy itself had alot to offer in specialized courses... I have completed the one on one and am currently doing the esl business... A lovely experience. I am so excited to start teaching.”

“I studied the level 5 -168 hour course with the TEFL Academy over a period of 6 months. I found the online course both interesting and challenging. The weekend teaching practice was very enjoyable and gave a good window into what teaching TEFL would be like. The assignments were stretching but there was a lot of online support given by means of clear instruction on how to complete the assignments and the feedback given was particularly supportive and informed.”

“Hi everyone! I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and it was a great experience! Although it is an on line course it is very interesting and engaging and the units are very well structured and what I really enjoyed was all the extra material you are given. Plenty of web sites to enrich your knowledge and useful tips to make sure your lessons are successful!”

“This TEFL course was very detailed and covered many important aspects of teaching English as a foreign language. I also love that their website advertises many teaching job opportunities within Europe and abroad. Their team is very good and responsive to any questions I had. I did the TEFL level 5 Certificate course which is also recognized by various government organizations and I think that is very useful when applying for visa overseas. “The course was well presented and it was great to have the classroom experience to start off with. The course contents followed a logical sequence and there is provision to make contact with the Academy in the event of needing any assistance. “The TEFL Level 5 168 our course is amazing. I learnt so many skills and techniques required to be a fully professional teacher. My lessons are now much more structured and I know exactly what to include in each lesson to make it as effective for my students as possible. The entire course is easy to navigate, great interactive activities to help you further understand and links to good informational websites. Each unit ends with a test which helps you track your progress and the assignments are marked with excellent feedback. Would highly recommend this course.”

“I just finished the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs)! I am so happy to have chosen the TEFL Academy. It was quite overwhelming to find a good provider as there are so many online but as soon as I came across the TEFL Academy and read trough the reviews and the specification I decided to book the course. It was great being able to work in my own time. The units are well structured and plenty of good ideas and further reading material is given. I am exited to start my TEFL career.”
