“Overall The TEFL Academy Level 5 Corse is very interesting. The course modules progressed in a logical order as well as providing lots of information. The tutors were friendly, polite, and provided good feedback. I would definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for something to do as a career.”

“The course was very challenging! I learnt a lot although I have been teaching for many years. The assignments were also challenging and the feedback was detailed and helpful. The online Level 5 Tefl Course is definately worth investing in if you are willing to put in the work .”

“I enjoyed this course thoroughly. The course material was adequate and presented well. I understand exactly what I had to do and learned enough to successfully complete the Assignments. The support was good and feedback were given promptly. I would definitely recommend The TEFL academy to anyone who is considering teaching English as a Foreign language .”

“I really enjoyed the content pf this course. I found it covered an extensive amount of really useful information and both inspired and prepared me for teaching English. I did find that the assignments were quite extensive and a couple of other people I know who also completed their TEFL with the TEFL Academy expressed that they felt the assignments were a bit too long. I would have also liked to have been able to upload my assignments immediately after completing them and not have to wait for the first assignment to be marked before being able to see and start working on the second one. Apart from this slight structural inconvenience I found the course incredibly beneficial and its layout user-friendly, making the course an enjoyable experience!”

“I really enjoyed the process of going through this course's content. I felt that the course was well organized and the support from The TEFL Academy team is very well-structured and all my queries were responded to within 24 hours. I really enjoyed the range of assignments that were given and I also appreciate the challenge that was presented in these assignments, as I felt that they are a true reflection of the tasks that would actually have to be done as an online ESL teacher. I also really liked the fact that I was able to choose the pace that I could take while completing this course and that my completion of the course all relied on my personal diligence. The only constructive criticism I have for this course is that I think it would be of benefit to everyone if the course content was maybe transferred into a PowerPoint structure or PDF form to make note-making easier. But other than that, I felt like the course really helped me and I appreciate all the effort done by the TEFL Academy team!”

“I found my courses with The TEFL Academy to be very well developed. The LMS they used is intuitive and easy to learn. The course work was easy to understand. The assignments were challenging but that helps to prepare students for reality. The only issue I had were some picture links and further reading links were broken, but that's an easy thing for their Tech Support to fix. I definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to others.”

“My experience with The TEFL Academy was very smooth and much more interesting than I had originally imagined. I specifically enjoyed the section on the International Phonetic Alphabet, and I found the majority of the content well summarised and well presented. If not for the many spelling and grammar errors throughout the course, I would've given a 5 star rating. “I've just completed the Online Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy. It was a good experience, good value for money, with good content. I received detailed feedback on each of the the assignments and prompt email delivery of my certificate after completing the course. I didn't experience any problems at all during studying the course and it was a problem-free experience. The online environment could have been a bit more engaging but apart from that it was a great course and I learnt useful teaching skills.”

“I have done TEFL Level 5. There was always someone who assisted me whenever I needed help. They were always friendly no matter what I need to know. Maybe 6 months are too short for people who studies part time. Assignments are time consuming if you want to do it properly. I enjoyed all 10 Units and learned a lot by doing TEFL. Thanks again God bless Mrs Botha”

“I did Level 5 Course with TEFL Academy and am very pleased that I took this step. I was skeptical to start with but as it got harder and challenging, I knew it was worth it. I learnt new things in phonetic grammar lessons and came to know how much goes into planning the lessons. I would recommend this course to anyone who is ready to make the commitment as it can easily be done, if you are disciplined and do it in a regular basis.”

“It's almost too bad there's not an option to rate between a 4 and a 5; while I may have a few criticisms, 4 just seems to low. I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn through the TEFL Academy. I found the material to be easy to navigate and learn, but the assignments were a little more challenging than anticipated. If you are not familiar with creating lesson plans, it can be a little daunting to figure it out on your own. Further, when you are normally the type of student who earns high marks, receiving only a "pass" on assignments is a little deflating. While that's not the fault of the TEFL Academy, grades are dependent upon the subjectivity of the graders. Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to an opportunity to get to work!”

“I learned a lot during this self-study course, which is always a sign of a satisfying course! I found the pronunciation and grammar units particularly insightful and felt very grateful to be given so many ideas and resources in every single module. The only things I might change would be to include more detail about one-to-one online teaching and also the format of the coursework - I found writing out my teacher language quite odd and unrealistic, but as doing a mock lesson 'live' would have been impossible under 2020 CV19 circumstances I suppose it would be hard to assess teaching style without this component. Many thanks TEFL Academy!”
