“Courses were easy, accessible and really not hard work. If you are interested in teaching, it's an interesting read with a quiz at the end of each unit. It did not take me 120 hours and I actually enjoyed it. Plus, I was able to access everything on my phone without any issues whatsoever, so a few units were done while sitting on the beach! Excellent customer service too, I'd get a reply (and solution) back to my queries (via email) within a day or so which is fair enough considering the time difference to my part of the world. My assignments were checked within less than the promised five business days which was great too.”

“I studied the Level 5 qualification. I loved it! In the beginning it was quite hard to know where I can find my course, but as soon as I got it, it was very easy to use. The TEFL Academy really surprised me with the amazing quality lessons and the end of unit tests. I learned a lot of interesting things I didn’t expect at all as I entered the course. I would recommend this course for anyone and it would be the best decision ever!”

“Just completed the level 5 online course - took me three extensions to actually start the course (life) but once I started to engage with the course material found myself totally emersed in learning. Loved using my brain again, and as a native English speaker was amazed by how little of the theory of English I knew. I now find myself analyzing speech and pronunciation constantly.”

“I benefited a lot from the course. There was a lot of work to do but it all helped me to create engaging and exciting lesson plans to motivate students and help them learn effectively. “I did the TEFL Level 5 Course online during the beginning of lockdown in South Africa. I thought it would be a great learning experience and a great way to spend all my time while being stuck at home. The learning experience was enjoyable and there was endless support. I always wanted to use the Level 5 TEFL Course as an opportunity to teach online in the near future. I love interacting with people and helping them to develop new skills in life. Teaching is more than just a job, it is an experience worth investing in. The opportunities are endless and doing the TEFL Level 5 Certificate is absolutely worth it!”

“I had the most incredible experience with The TEFL Academy. I decided to study the Level 5 Course as I wanted the freedom that came with being able to teach abroad and online. I was highly impressed by the online platform and the material that was covered in the course. I enjoyed the end-of-unit tests and the short quizzes between each section of each unit which helped me test my knowledge and what I had learned. The prompt and detailed feedback I received after each assignment was incredible and I felt supported and encouraged by the tutors throughout my studies. “At the age of 60+ I never thought I would be able to complete the course. When I started with the course and I saw how attractive and impressive the units were, I couldn't wait to complete the course. I found it very interesting and easily to understand. I also enjoyed the activities. It gave me a very good idea of how to present the different topics to the class(es) I will teach in the future. Whenever I had to book a ticket, the response was quick and satisfactory. I really enjoyed my journey with TEFL Academy and feel confident to start the new chapter in my life.”

“I've just recently completed the Level 5 diploma course with the TEFL Academy and I can say that I am very impressed with the product. I found the course to be interesting, well-structured and extremely flexible, and I received excellent support from tutors, admin and support staff whenever I had a query about something. Similarly, while the theoretical content is great, I found that the material within the course is generally very practical; it's all stuff that would actually be very useful in a real teaching environment. The assignments are tough but fair, and you really do learn a great deal while you are doing them, and the quizzes, questionnaires and exams that fill out each unit make for an engaging continuous assessment experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Level 5 TEFL course from the TEFL Academy. It's the best TEFL course I've ever done (I've done several), and I hope to continue interacting with the Academy and its resources as I start out on my career path.”
