“I really enjoyed completing my TEFL course with the TEFL academy. The units covered all the appropriate material and I feel I really developed both my knowledge of teaching as well as practical skills such as lesson planning. For the most part, the units were appropriate lengths, although some of the units got a bit long, so maybe some of the longer units could be broken up into smaller sections. However, the vast majority of the units were very engaging and include interactive tasks throughout, which helped me to maintain focus, which is important for me when working alone. I was very happy with the feedback I received from assignments, as feedback was both prompt and detailed. Overall I am very happy with the TEFL academy course.”

“I've just finished the TEFL Level 5 course (168 hrs) and had a really great experience learning about teaching English with The TEFL academy. I had the opportunity to gain all the necessary knowledge to become an ESL teacher. The course is very well structured and practical. There are 10 units in the course with 3 assignments. The assignments took me a lot of hard work, a week for each one. Each unit is very detailed and has lots of additional reading resources. After each unit there is a test that helps you assess your understanding, which is really great! I I would definitely recommend The TEFL academy to anyone looking to learn about teaching English. Receiving grades after doing assignments got me motivated to improve my language and teacher skills. I am really thankful to The Tefl Academy for this opportunity and support throughout the course. Want to become an ESL teacher? Go for The Tefl Academy!”

“I studied level 5 certificate with The TEFL academy! It was like no other course I’ve done before... Highly professional, informative covering all the right information and more, going the extra mile for satisfied students like myself and all in all a high caliber for learning! The assignment feedback helped me as in individual and was person specific... It motivated me to improve in my downfall areas and helped me correct my errors. The actual content of the course is perfect if you are wanting to teach English to foreign students as it doesn’t just cover what needs to be taught but HOW it needs to be taught. Educating how to deal with behavior from student to student and the best way to effectively teach your students to best suit their own learning style while accommodating the whole class. Excellent Course with excellent facilities!! Definitely a course worth the time and money!”

“I took this course because I wanted TO TEACH English abroad. I had read a lot of reviews online about different providers but this one seemed credible and a popular one. I was practically impressed by their double qualifications and the option to do an online course with actual live practice. All in all, the course was extremely helpful, informative and taught me many things about teaching I had never considered. Highly recommended!”

The detailed feedback that they give you after each assignment is amazing! You do not jist get a grade but they tell you exactly where you went wrong and how you can improve. “I am so pleased to now have an English teaching qualification. It is not something I had ever planned but I am now living outside of England and have more opportunities because of this qualification. It has been a very intense and challenging 6 months! It is very detailed and in-depth but I have learnt many useful and helpful concepts. It has also been interesting, as being a native speaker I don't really think about the individual letters and sounds I am making but now understand it better myself which will help with teaching. The feedback for the assignments was always in the expected time limit and was detailed and constructive. It was also very helpful to be able to continue with the units while waiting for the feedback from an assignment. The one issue I have with this course is the 6 month time limit to qualify. Thankfully I had few commitments at the time of completing the course but I still struggled to finish in time and was unable to keep up with my study schedule for the majority of the course. I am so pleased I have completed this course and I would recommend it to anyone who is in a position to teach English in a different country.”

“Hi , i did a 168 hour course with Tefl academy , and really enjoyed the course as it was made simple to understand and to work with . There online research sites were to the point of helping you. Their creating a ticket system was quick to reply if one had a problem , and always able to solve the problems i encountered. I would recommend the academy to anyone wanting to get into the teaching industry.”

“At my ripe old age of 56 and semi retired, decided to look at teaching English online. Did the Level 5 TEFL course as well as the Business English and Teaching Online add-ons. Initially I struggled to get the brain working (been a long time since formal studies), but the course is so well laid out, logical and I did learn a lot. The assignments were not easy but I triumphed! Anyone who wants to do this kind of course, I would highly recommend.”
