“I started studying the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) at the TEFL Academy a few months ago, not really knowing what to expect. I absolutely loved this course. Everything is really practical, well-explained and tested in a way that really makes sure you know the material by the end of it. I was amazed at how fast assignments were reviewed by teachers and how detailed the feedback I got was. Would recommend taking this course to anyone that's interested in teaching English to foreign learners or for people who just want to learn about the English language from a different perspective!”

“I recently finished my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), including 20 hours face-to-face with James Jenkins and I couldn't recommend it more! James is a brilliant teacher who showed us so many techniques to be use in the classroom and modelled the perfect energy and attitude. The online course was very thorough on the best approach to teaching, it made me feel sorry for me as kid learning English as a foreign language. I wish I had a TEFL teacher! After being tested on the theory and completing my assignments, I feel really prepared to put it all into practise. Thanks TEFL and James Jenkins! 😄”

“I have just completed the 168-hr Level 5 TEFL Course. Thrilled that I achieved a Merit - almost a Distinction! Information re 11 units were very comprehensive. So much to absorb. It's evidently a very well-thought out course and covers aspects of English that this student didn't know existed. Support was excellent and very prompt. The only drawback was the lack of teaching practice. I would recommend this course.”

“A really great course that exposes you to all the key areas you will need to know in your teaching career. The on-line course is well structured with quizzes throughout the chapters to help you to check your knowledge and understanding. The assignments are certainly challenging but really focus your attention to use your knowledge to design and effectively plan your lessons - a challenging but extremely rewarding course!”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and what a journey that was! It was a really great course that was nicely packed into units, some which were entertaining, some which were more challenging. But after all that, it really did change the way I thought about learning and teaching languages, as well as the side of planning that we students don't often notice. The classroom component was the highlight, as I got to meet new friends and learn from an experienced and amazing TEFL teacher.”

“I needed to take a TEFL course for my job offer in China. I was searching and came across The TEFL Academy and was very surprised by it. I have always been cautious about online courses because they do not engage most of the time. After using The TEFL Academy, I am happy with my decision. Not only did it give me an inside about how to be a foreign teacher, it also gave me plenty of practice with the assignments. The assignments were difficult but also tested all aspects of my knowledge. I recommend using them because they are cheap and they offer the most balanced course structure.”

Also, the in class course gives you the actual opportunity to experience giving short lesson, making lesson plans and providing activities to the whole class. They deserve the star!”

“I've completed TEFL course level 5 (168hrs) a few days ago and I'm fully satisfied with it. The website itself was really easy to navigate and user friendly. It offered a lot of handy tips and external links altogether with available job opportunities which I've found to be extremely helpful. “It is difficult to find the right course online as there are SO many but after a lot of research I decided to start the TEFL course here and I am very happy I did as the course over exceeded my expectations. The content is very thorough and easy to follow at the same time, it has a lot of detailed and is well structured, it is challenging and has great support if/when needed. “Completing a TEFL level 5 qualification really puts you through the paces, even as a native English speaker. They've made sure to go into great detail with both the language itself and essential teaching techniques. The assignments were hard work and you come out the other side feeling a real sense of achievement. With this qualification under my belt I feel ready to step into a classroom for the first time and share everything I know about the language in the most efficient way possible. Cheers TEFL!”
