“Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is great... This course was very interesting and informative I feel so much equipped and ready to apply my knowledge obtained throughout the course. TEFL Academy provided us with more resources, videos and other sites to use in order to further our knowledge.. I am proud to say they managed to produce the best teachers to teach English as a foreign language. The whole course is great.”

“I took the blended course; 168 hours of online material and 20 in-class. The material was in-depth and comprehensive. The assignments and tasks tested knowledge and our application thereof, making it much better than a prior course I took. The in-class time was well worth the additional price. Our instructor, Mayy ElHayawi) was highly qualified and taught us practical skills for the classroom that would have been nigh impossible to do without such an environment. Our online assignments were in-depth and also taught real world skills; planning classes from the ground-up and reviewing materials for usefulness. They were graded in a timely fashion by people who knew what they were doing and provided highly specific, actionable feedback on how to do better (even when I passed one with distinction! Always room to improve). I can't comment completely on the job search aspect yet, but it seems usable, if not amazing, the closest thing to a con I can think of regarding the course.”

“On January 2020 I completed the TEFL 168 online course at The TEFL Academy. According to me there is a real difference in searching job now and before. I applied for an online teaching job in Spain (Europe) and China (Asia), but when the employers asked me for a TEFL certificate and I still didn't start the course, they explained me that they really need it. Also, they told me that I own all the skill they need for the job, but the qualification is obligatory, so to send them the certificate when I have it and they will hire me. The TEFL Academy is great and the certificate is highly valuable.”

“Hi; the content was excellent, But the course presentation, access to previous learnt items, and basic captivating quality of the pages was abysmal! After doing i-i level three(also weird to navigate but presented well), I found the screen boring , not outlay ed well and also not user friendly The overall web design shud also be different”

“Hey everyone! I did the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), which includes the weekend workshop. I spent several months completing the course, although I did the workshop very early into things. I highly recommend that. It gets you rolling faster, meaning you have a clearer idea what the online component is all about. Having said that, don't underestimate the depth & length of the 3 assignments. They add a lot more time to the length of your study. At least, they did for me. Smarter students might plow through! The course itself is well-paced & well-structured. Seems to give you a grounding in most, if not all, the things you need to know to teach English to non-English native speakers. The proof will be in the pudding when I/you start teaching. But it gives you lots of confidence & an understanding that once you start teaching the groundwork laid on the course will pay major dividends. Good luck!! - Dean (NZ)”

“I really enjoyed the TEFL Academy 168 hour course. The content was thorough, well organised and included a multitude of interesting and suitably challenging assignments. The TEFL Academy provided me with a depth of resources which I will use throughout the beginning stages (and maybe later) of my teaching career. “This is an online course that you can complete at your own pace within a 6 month period so it’s very flexible. The course covers everything you need to know in order to teach English as a foreign language. Like any online course, it can be challenging to complete coursework because you don’t have a teacher. Overall it’s a good course to get certified!”
