“During the lockdown, I was looking for a course that would expand my teaching knowledge and can lead to a new opportunity in life. I could not recommend the TEFL Academy enough! Each unit is full of information and detail with great sources and examples to prepare you for future jobs! The essays are clearly explained and easy to follow and there is a great support system to answer any questions. I'm so glad I completed this course!”

“I enjoyed doing the 168 hour TEFL course through The TEFL Academy. As someone totally new to teaching, I initially felt very overwhelmed. This course has given me the tools and the confidence I need to teach English online. I have been given loads of support, and I am impressed with the quality of the course and the prompt, professional responses to my queries. “Fantastically structured course. I loved the fact that you could work on it in your own time and at your own pace. The course covers a wide range of topics and gets you thinking like a teacher more and more as the course progresses. I liked the fact that it had a lot of tips and advice on teaching scattered throughout the course, as this was very useful advice. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants a change in their work life.”

“I have no regrets choosing to obtain my TEFL certification from the TEFL Academy! The deals that they run frequently on their website make choosing this rigorous 168 online course (with bonus free top-up course) an easy decision. The staff and support are extremely responsive, and I never had an issue navigating the site, accessing the assignments, turning in the assignments, or completing the course for the duration it took for me to receive my certification. Some of the material may seem repetitive at times, and I wish some units would go very specific about logistics of teaching (rather than more broad or abstract terms), but overall I feel like I certainly had a worthwhile learning experience with them! I am satisfied with the amount of references and resources they provide, not just during and at the end of each unit, but also upon completion of the course. They give you many, many links to TEFL-specific job boards, and I look forward to exploring these opportunities to see where my career takes me.”

“It was very interesting and productive study for me. I can definitely say that I gained a lot of theoretical knowledge, that was my main priority. I also liked how quick student support was. The team was always involved in the process, they really helped with the questions which were arising during the course. Additional thank you to the markers. Their feedbacks are beneficial.”

“I am very satisfied with my studies at the TEFL Academy. I have a university degree in Linguistics and I decided to get the TEFL certificate to get an internationally recognised prof that I am an English language specialist. The TEFL course is very well organised in units, which are easy to follow. In case if I had questions, the tutors were very eager to help and solve my doubts. In order to pass the course, I had to do three assignments, which were challenging but extremely interesting. I really did learn a lot and had a wonderful time studying with you. Thank you:)”

“EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCED TRAINING I just finished my Level 5 Tefl Course and can totally recommend this course with The Tefl Academy. The content is nicely structured and prepares you ideally for your ESL or EFL lessons. There are regular small quizzes to make sure you grasped the input of the various chapters. The three assignments are challenging and the feedback very helpful. The course took more time than I thought but after completion I feel more prepared than I thought I would be.”

“The course is well-structured and covers all relevant areas in teaching English to foreign students. The learning portal itself is user-friendly and I never had a problem logging in. “I did the level 5 qualification during the summer after finishing my first year of uni, as I had quite a lot of free time. The course was fun & informative. I passed all assignments first time and was given feedback from all assignments within 2 working days. Great course to do if you’ve got some spare time (took me about 4 months, doing a few hours a week). If you can’t learn through just reading (eg you need visual or audio to help you learn) then you may find it more difficult as the course is pretty much just reading paragraphs of text. Definitely worth the money :)”

“Despite the fact that I am a foreign language teacher, 168-hour course taught me a lot. Thanks to it I not only revised what I knew before, but also learned about things that I have been meaning to. Everything is explained clearly and if you have questions their mentors are very helpful. I need to mention that I am suprised with how they take care of their alumnis about landing job abroad. As a result, 168-hour course offers so much for so little!”

“I feel fulfilled by what I learned during my studies at TEFL Academy. The language teaching practices gave a good overview from which I can continue to learn about different methods and aspects of the English language. I also teach Finnish and see that what I learned about teaching English is also applied to teaching any language. I would definitely recommend this course for you. Make sure you do lots of readings!”

“I quite enjoyed the course that I took. It was pretty direct, easy to follow, and provided me with enough information that I didn't feel like I was missing anything. Best of all, now I have a certification that I can use to help me get teaching jobs while traveling abroad. At times their online infrastructure was a bit cluncky, and I wish I had a little more context for what content they wanted in the assignments, but it overall these didn't distract too much from the course. Pretty good overall.”

“I studied the level 5 TEFL course this year at The TEFL Academy and passed it 🎉. I’m glad I started it. It was very informative and helpful. Some parts were difficult while others made more sense to me (this will differ for others of course). I learned so much and this made me even more excited to start working abroad. I would really love to work in South Korea but since I’m not a native English speaker, that might not be possible. I’m hoping for a miracle there 🤗. Definitely recommend studying at TTA!”
