“The Level 5 course is practical and useful. The Academy has excellent support staff, who respond very promptly, with appropriate information. The Academy has been very supportive of students, during the Covid-19 times, where studies have often been disruptive due to health issues, including mental health issues. The feedback on assignments is very beneficial and the markers endeavour to provide results much faster than the website indicates. I even got my result during a public holiday! Thank you TEFL Academy.”

“I've just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course with MERIT! I feel so proud of myself and inspired to be able to work abroad. The course provides students with a good set of teaching tips and techniques which I am sure I’ll be using once I find a job. Throughout the course I’ve been feeling at ease and finished the course in only 3 months thanks to the excellent work of the technical, administrative and tutor support.”

“I was very hesitant at first about the quality of the materials, but the course turned out to be very very good. I actually learned everything regarding lesson planning, resource and material use, and so many more aspects of TEFL! I am certainly planning to attend the top up courses, too.”

“I completed the Online Level 5 TEFL Course from The TEFL Academy at the end of 2021. I really never thought that an online course would benefit me that much, but it did. The course content has properly prepared me for various teaching jobs - online and abroad. None of this would have been possible without the carefully structured assignments that simulated real-life tasks teachers need to complete. I highly recommend that you start your teaching journey with The TEFL Academy!”

“The course is complete and engaging, really interesting contents. Anytime I’ve had a doubt or a problem I sent a ticket and they answered very quickly, always kind and helpful. The course also gives you plenty of further resources and materials to study or to use in you lessons as a new teacher. I’m really satisfied and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to become a certified teacher. I’ve also done the Teaching Business English course and found it amazingly appealing and full of brilliant contents.”

“At the beginning course’s curriculum seemed a bit easy even for not native speaker. But eventually I’ve become greatly surprised about profound materials, examples, practice. Though I was struggling with Assignments, I’m really glad that I’ve finished this journey. It was useful experience which would help me start my career as a ESL teacher.”

“This is a very well-organized, detailed course, that covers all the main areas that will be important to you as a burgeoning teaching. The units and assignments are clearly presented, and there are model assignments and plenty of tips given along the way to help you to complete the assignments. The course is quite text-heavy - and I found myself supplementing the content with a lot of youtube videos to help bring the material to life. The tutor system is good, and you never have to wait too long for an answer to your questions. The face-to-face element was mostly revision of the materials covered in the online course, but included some teaching practice and invaluable advice from an experienced TEFL teacher. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanted to become a TEFL teacher who is happy to learn mostly through reading.”

“I think this course was really fun and good to do. They have got so many resources and information and ideas to use which incredible and I got inspired to use them straight away in my classes. The one I did is all online which is great because of the flexibility but if you want in class there is an option too. I did sometimes miss a mentor or actual teaching practice as in someone giving feedback though as Ive been teaching for 4 years I do rather feel confident and the feedback on the assignments is valuable as well. Would really recommend this course!”

“I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get into TEFL. The course is informative and challenging, providing students with realistic practice of producing lesson plans. There is plenty of student support if you need it qnd the course is very straightforward to navigate. It took me 6 months to complete, I probably spent a few hours a week on it as I was also working full time. Some people complete it sooner and there is the option to extend the course if you need to for a fee. The resources given to you at the end of the course to help with jobs are also very helpful. I've just applied for my first role to teach online.”
