“I have recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Online Course, a very comprehensive, well structured and well presented course including precise and detailed content on different language teaching aspects: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, productive and receptive skills, background information, lesson plans, classroom activities and management strategies, use of resources and lots of quality external references. If you have doubts and you need feedback from the team, they will prompt reply to your query. Feedback on the assignments is definitely exhaustive with useful tips for the future in order to provide a better understating of the strategies and different parts of a lesson plan. I would highly recommend the TEFL online course to everyone who is starting a teaching career.”

“For several years I deliberated on teaching English and I finally did it and completed the TEFL Academy level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). I opted to study online. This has been loads of fun, especially the 20-hour workshop. The other students were fantastic, and the teacher was so good. I did this at the beginning of my study and I think it may have been more value towards the end. That was my choice entirely. Since completing the course many exciting opportunities have presented themselves which will allow me to experience life in my wife's homeland; China. This has been a fabulous investment.”

“I did my tefl with The TEFL Academy and it was a very interesting as well as knowledge gaining experience. Im happy to say that all the units were easy to understand and complete. The end of unit tests asked questions based on understanding and not on what you remembered from the units. This was highly helpfull since it is a lot of work to memorize. The assignments were straight forward and the instructions were clear. The feedback on assignments were given fairly quickly and the markers gave in depth feedback on every aspect of the assignment this was very helpfull in terms of knowing where i went wrong and what to do different. All in all a very good experience. Thank you TEFL academy.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course. I found the course to be very helpful and presented in a clear, effective manner. I would say that I found some of the marking to be a bit erratic. I believe this is due to different markers being used, however, I think that it might be better for the same person to mark a candidate's work. I am interested in teaching online and so will be enrolling in the TEFL academy's course which specifically focuses on that as well. I think the course provided access to a lot of extra information and resources, which I really appreciated. I believe the course has been really successful in making me think about how to truly be an exceptional teacher.”

“In their Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), the TEFL Academy have provided a rigorous, challenging, in-depth and very satisfying course . It requires a degree of self-discipline and effort to complete, but that effort will be thoroughly rewarded. The assignment markers provide really good feedback and a weekend of classroom teaching is included. I cannot think how the TEFL Academy are able to provide a course of this quality for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of gaining a qualification in this area.”

“I am very happy that I took this course. It let me study at my own pace, go back to any unit I needed if I forgot something, stop where I wanted and spend more time on material that was more difficult for me. Content was interesting and presented in a clear and interesting manner. In order to finish and receive my certificate I had to write three demanding assignments. This made me feel like I put a lot of effort and used freshly gained knowledge right away. Also, all assignments were checked individually and I received a thorough description of what was good and what was wrong. In case of any troubles, customer service is available, and they respond very quickly and in a caring and professional manner. Overall it was a great experience and I'm sure it prepared me well for the role of English teacher. Definitely a worthy investment!”

“I have recently completed my 168 hours TEFL course. This course has built both my knowledge and skills. I feel confident in everything I plan, teach and work collaboratively with my colleagues. The 20-hour classroom is highly recommended as it is an overview of the entire course. I would suggest booking in the middle of the course after completing the minimum 4 assignments. Thank you to TEFL for providing me a well-recognised qualification straight after my last assignment was graded. I still need to take a free top-up course offered by TEFL Academy. Thank you.”

“I completed the 168 TEFL Online course this year (2019). I found the course challenging and interesting. One of my biggest hurdles was doing the entire course online without any human interaction, it may seem a little daunting but it is completely manageable as there is tutor feedback when you do the assignments. The course being entirely online also makes it very affordable which I'm grateful for.”

“My TEFL journey started in July. Time flew and I thought I would not complete it but I DID. And I am now TEFL qualified. I am impressed with the TEFL staff who responded quickly to my many queries. The course was enjoyable, the assignments challenging (and different to what I am used to) but I would definitely recommend this course to family and friends.”
