“A few months ago I decided to study TEFL level 5. I am already an English teacher and wanted to broaden my horizons. I was extremely pleased with the material provided by TTA. “The TEFL Academy have been so supportive, flexible and helpful in making sure I complete this course, especially during such challenging times. The course content will definitely prove to be valuable when I will need to refer back to the things I have learnt once I begin teaching abroad. “It's almost too bad there's not an option to rate between a 4 and a 5; while I may have a few criticisms, 4 just seems to low. I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn through the TEFL Academy. I found the material to be easy to navigate and learn, but the assignments were a little more challenging than anticipated. If you are not familiar with creating lesson plans, it can be a little daunting to figure it out on your own. Further, when you are normally the type of student who earns high marks, receiving only a "pass" on assignments is a little deflating. While that's not the fault of the TEFL Academy, grades are dependent upon the subjectivity of the graders. Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to an opportunity to get to work!”

“The TEFL course I have undertaken with the TEFL Academy turned out to be one of the great experiences in my entire academic history. Although the course was challenging, engaging and required hard work to pass, it also comprised various interesting activities, scenarios and real life cases that helped to make learning both entertaining and real. My confidence as a new teacher has now arose and I can't wait to find my first school where I can transfer my learnt skills into the classroom.”

“The 168 hour Level 5 TEFL course was incredibly detailed and in depth and covered almost all aspects of ESL teaching. The assignments were very helpful as it gave me an opportunity to plan lessons as I would do in real life. Even as a qualified school teacher, I still learnt many new techniques to take into the classroom.”

“I just finished my Level 5 TEFL course and Top-up course ! This site provides you with everything you need. In the event that you ever feel lost or unsure, the site provides you with direct contact with one of the TEFL advisers, who are very polite and helpful. This site is a step by step guide and helping hand. They are very organized and detailed ! I would highly recommend this TEFL site to anyone thinking of doing a TEFL course.”

“The TEFL Academy is the perfect place to prepare yourself for a career in teaching English as a foreign language. The course is laid out perfectly and organised in a way that is easy for anyone to follow. No prior knowledge is required as all of the information you could ever need is all tied in throughout this course. The feedback from the instructors proves to be particularly useful as you tackle each assignment and you can always go back and look through the units and any notes whenever you want. I cannot recommend this course enough to anyone looking to become a qualified TEFL teacher.”

“I recently completed the level 5 TEFL course online. It was an excellent experience. The course work was well laid out and easy to access. The work was presented in an interesting and fun way. The instructions were always very clear making no room for misunderstandings. The assignments tested my knowledge and understanding of what it would take to be a EFL teacher. The feedback on the assignments were clear and helped you see where you could better your skills.”

“I enjoyed taking the Level 5 TEFL Course online. I liked the interactive questions/quizzes throughout the lesson that ensured that you understood the information. It took me about 3.5 months to complete and that was me just taking my time. I love that the pace is up to you (although you do only have 6 months access). I don't have any complaints other than wishing that there was a way to reach out to other peers taking the course or who have taken the course. I think that would've been helpful when finding jobs and other opportunities related to teaching english.”

“I really enjoyed doing this course. As this was my first online course, I found it to be very helpful in teaching me how to teach English online and to get comfortable with everything. Also the small tests in between the study material, helped a lot to know if I understood the work. It was great”

“My experience of the TEFL Academy was an exceedingly positive one. I completed their online Level 5 course. Instructions were always exceedingly clear, and it was easy to communicate with real people if ever I had a problem. The feedback that I received on my assignments was always exceptionally thorough, and helpful in bettering my following assignments. I completed this course whilst already working abroad as an English language assistant via the British Council. I feel that this certificate alongside my experience will look great on my CV for a future in education. 6 months was ample time to complete the course, however due to certain personal disruptions, I was obliged to purchase an extension. This was easy to do and I felt a fair price. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone who either has an interest in language teaching, wants to go abroad, or is looking at a career change. Via this qualification, I hope to have many more opportunities to teach abroad and experience the world.”

I could tell they wanted their students to succeed with the amount of resources that were available and the feedback given by the tutors who graded the assignments.
