“The TEFL academy level 5 certificate I have completed on February 7, 2022, has improved my teaching skills for my present job with VIPKID. I have worked with VIPKID for over one year now as an online teacher. But now after completing this course it has opened many more possibilities for teaching abroad or online. This course has taught me proper lesson planning stages for teaching English to speakers of a foreign language and given me the confidence to apply for a new job in a foreign country. Also, VIPKID is expanding its teaching to cover the complete globe and all I have learned with the TEFL Academy has made me a better teacher to provide a better online classroom experience for them. “The TEFL Academy had an excellent Qualifi Level 5 TEFL Course and I really appreciated it and learned a lot from it. I would definitely recommend it to any EFL/ESL teacher no matter how experienced they are because this course covers a lot of points and would be beneficial to any English teacher.”

“I found The TEFL Academy's TEFL Level 5 Course very thorough indeed, with the units covering vast amounts of information from the history of the English language to detailed lesson planning and online tools, with lots of useful links for further reading and viewing. The course also recycles previous points covered which I appreciated. The information provided for the assignments was also extremely helpful and clear. My weekend face to face course covering practical teaching tips was excellent, run by a very engaging, competent and professional tutor. Highly recommended!”

Communication with anyone, whether it be for assistance with an admin aspect or your assignments, was quick and easy. “I'm certainly a non-standard TEFL student. I've been a professional translator for a few years now, and I wanted to expand my business with a new service while strengthening my own language skills. This course ticked all the boxes. It's well structured, interesting, engaging, and above all useful (for both "out of the box" students like me and "typical" TEFL students, I'm sure). The assistance and grading staff is amazingly caring and supportive. All in all, this is a highly recommended experience!”

“I was slightly hesitant of selecting an online TEFL course at first, but after a little research, I choose the 'TEFL Academy' with no regrets. The introduction and learning modules are well planned out, with plenty of external links for further resources. The course is so well designed that you feel like you're already working as a TEFL teacher, as you proceed through the modules. The support and backup are there when needed. If you are thinking about taking a TEFL course, then I highly recommend 'TEFL Academy'. I feel very competent after completing the course and looking forward to teaching.”

“I completed the Qualifi Level 5 Certificate in TEFL at The TEFL Academy. I found the course to be quite comprehensive in its content. I learned various things about teaching vocabulary, grammar, and how to efficiently prepare and present a lesson for A1 to C2 students. The course was very engaging and interactive, and its design helped me to understand the work. This course really went into the necessary detail about the different aspects of teaching English. I am quite satisfied with this course.”

“I can't praise this course enough. I do have some years of experience teaching online however, the material presented in the course has put things in place for me. I got a deeper understanding of teaching and got the tools for becoming an even better teacher. The staff was very responsive which is so important. Modules were comprehensive and easy to follow. Tests were logical and structured to reflect how well you understood the materials presented in the corresponding module. The assignments were a challenge. Not in a rocket science sense but you simply need to do your research which might take most of your time. You have to show that you are capable of delivering lessons and that you understand what is expected of you as a teacher. This is not one of those cheap courses - you have to work for it, but it is totally worth it! It took me 5 months to complete the course only because I work full time and have other obligations. I also took my time, not rushing it. You can finish it much sooner if you set your mind to it. Now I am ready to apply for more exciting ESL jobs! Good luck everyone, you'll love the challenge!”

“I enrolled and completed the Level 5 TEFL Certificate (168 hours): I found TEFL Academy online after trying to find a reputable organisation that offered a recognised and accredited TEFL qualification. And, I'm SO GLAD I did. TEFL Academy offers a well-paced and well-designed course with lots of helpful information, endless resources, examples and easy to follow templates. Feedback from the tutors is always informative and helps you really understand areas you've done well in and where you can improve. It was great to be able to receive real feedback from real tutors who have clearly taught in real classrooms. They also offer free top-up courses once you've completed your training. “I had a wonderful experience studying online. The platform was easy to navigate and help was easily received through the ticket system. I felt that the test and assignments help test my knowledge of what I had learnt and I feel confident after learning the material that was provided.
