“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course, and I absolutely loved the course. I learned a lot and grew as a teacher. The TEFL academy was also very helpful whenever I had questions, and the course platform was very easy to navigate and understand. They also provide you with clear instructions and a lot of examples when you are completing your assignment. I'm very pleased with the service they provided.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course and was highly impressed. I was given 6 months to complete it, however was allowed to do it all at my own pace - there was no stress about trying to keep up in a physical or virtual classroom. There was lots of information provided and plenty of practical exercises to make sure you understand what has been learnt. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone wanting to teach English as a Foreign Language.”

“A challenging course that one can't just sail through. It requires putting your brain into action. With regard to improvements, it would be nice to have more samples (video, planning sheets or otherwise) of exemplary teaching methods upon which to do the coursework. Getting a distinction on any of the coursework was beyond my ability, perhaps because I haven't done any teaching yet, however it would have been nice to see some more of the 'gold standard' of what was expected of any student on the course in terms of achieving a distinction. Otherwise, quite a manageable, user-friendly layout and a fine introduction into the larger TEFL world. I am pleased that I chose TEFL Academy, as it is (I believe) the only TEFL Course that is accredited in both the USA and UK. Not too shabby.”

“The course was great! What I liked most about this course was the freedom to study on your own pace with enough time for completion. Because as a mother of three you just can't study hours after hours to complete the course, you need time to do that. I learned a tremendous amount about teaching, especially on how to plan your lessons carefully and that this exactly is the key to great lessons. I will definitely keep that with me. Overall it was great to take this course! Thanks to all the teachers who are behind this amazing course.”

“I recently completed the 168 hr. Online Level 5 TEFL Course from The TEFL Academy. I am extremely pleased with the course and would definitely recommend it to others. After completing the course I feel confident and ready to further pursue my TEFL career. The quizzes were simple and effective while providing a good review/ summary of what was taught in each unit. While reading reviews on this course, many people mention that the assignments were difficult and challenging but worth it. Here is my opinion, the assignments are indeed challenging but this is what makes the course unique, each assignment tests you in a different way and really encourages you to be creative and think of ways to effectively teach the topic at hand. When you first read the assignment instructions, you feel a bit overwhelmed, this is normal, don't worry about it! Even though you feel overwhelmed, I can say for a fact that the assignment instructions are thorough and well explained and are in fact easy to follow. I was able to successfully complete all 3 assignments without the need to resubmit or use the ticket support system. Additionally, the feedback from the tutors was timely, detailed and encouraging, I really appreciated this. The program really is well developed and well thought out and the assignments definitely help prepare you to stand in front a classroom or sit in front a screen and successfully deliver a class.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course and I really enjoyed it. They provide you with all the information and bases to help prepare you for teaching theory and plenty of other sources to aid in your journey in becoming a qualified English teacher. The course is well structured and laid out and easy to navigate. The material is well put together and not confusing. I learned a great deal and had fun while doing so.”

“I completed the Level 5 Combined Certificate and glad I did! The units are all detailed, relevant and include practical advice for when you qualify as an EFL teacher. The assignments are challenging but really useful since the simulate situations that you are likely to face in an EFL career. Really glad I chose The TEFL Academy to complete my certificate - would (and have) recommend to anyone.”
