“I took the level five TEFL course. It was extremely helpful. I learned so many great things to help me start my journey in ESL. The only reason I didn't give this course five stars is because it was a lot of reading. Almost the entire course consisted of reading content. It would have been nice to have more videos to give my eyes a break from reading.”

“This is a very well-organized, detailed course, that covers all the main areas that will be important to you as a burgeoning teaching. The units and assignments are clearly presented, and there are model assignments and plenty of tips given along the way to help you to complete the assignments. The course is quite text-heavy - and I found myself supplementing the content with a lot of youtube videos to help bring the material to life. The tutor system is good, and you never have to wait too long for an answer to your questions. The face-to-face element was mostly revision of the materials covered in the online course, but included some teaching practice and invaluable advice from an experienced TEFL teacher. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanted to become a TEFL teacher who is happy to learn mostly through reading.”

“The TEFL academy level 5 course was really educational and pleasant to do, I would have liked to see an actual tutor instead of having to submit a ticket but overall really good course I can recommend it to anyone looking to improve their English language skills and might have future plans to travel.”

“I think this course was really fun and good to do. They have got so many resources and information and ideas to use which incredible and I got inspired to use them straight away in my classes. The one I did is all online which is great because of the flexibility but if you want in class there is an option too. I did sometimes miss a mentor or actual teaching practice as in someone giving feedback though as Ive been teaching for 4 years I do rather feel confident and the feedback on the assignments is valuable as well. Would really recommend this course!”

“I truly appreciated the experience and the opportunity to complete this course with TTA. A very structured e-learning content, which you can access whenever you wish, and a detailed outlook on teaching English as a foreign language. There is a lot of independent work to carry out but support is provided from the tutors. The feedback given on the assignments is clear and truly helpful to enhance your teaching and planning skills. The opportunities this course has opened for me are wide, and I am excited to see what is next.”

“The course covers all of the areas needed. The assignments are very intense so I think that smaller practice assignments should be given so students can get feedback before attempting the major ones which contribute to their final grade.”

“I thoroughly researched about the course, its future opportunities to teach overseas, and the acknowledgment of the certificate when I finally receive it and apply for jobs. I chose to do this course during the lockdown and it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, I couldn't choose the Combined Course due to the lockdown, but the 168hr Online Course was absolutely terrific. I learned so much, about developing a lesson plan, teaching English, grammar, pronunciation, receptive skills, materials used, principles of teaching English, etc. The course needs to be completed within 6months, however, it only took 1month to complete. Especially if you put your time and mind into it, and not be lazy. It includes interactive activities that revise the knowledge you receive from the modules that really help you revise the material. It's well-structured, easy to follow, and accessible. Apart from that, I believe the assignments truly helped develop the knowledge I gained from the modules. It's an excellent program, and I definitely recommend it.”

“The way the world is right now, working remotely is a brilliant option. This online 168 hr course has stretched me in parts but absolutely well worth it and I was able to finish it in 4 months. I would recommend browsing through the extra resources and watching the YouTube videos/tutorials. I wrote notes through the lessons which served me in each test. The student services and tutor services are quick to reply and extremely helpful.”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL course. As a working person, I would have liked the course to be just 2 months longer. Also, there was no content in the course to learn to teach children from 5 - 10 yr old. I would have liked that.”

“This was a really well conveyed course. Everything’s was clear, well explained and easy to navigate. The tutors mark and respond quickly, and the student support team was super helpful. I’d recommend the in-person class in conjunction with the online material since it clarified the theory in a way that was essential to understanding the content and preparing for the assignments.”

“I recently finished my Level 5 TEFL certification with 20 hour classroom training. I was hired by a prestigious company just by mentions it. My interview required writing the exact lesson planning skills taught an I begin working with 3 sets of Sydenham next week and haven’t even received my mailed copy of Level 5 TEFL certification!”

“The TEFL expirience has been a good and informative one for me.my only hope is that the modules are available offline for those who do not always have internet access or regardless.i also would suggest a 1 or 2 meetings that are scheduled to discuss with tutors on a platform for those who might need clarification.”
