“The TEFL ACADEMY has left me feeling not only happy but with a genuine feeling of achievement and a wonderful fillip to my self esteem .The course was challenging and covered everything I imagined a good teaching course should cover. “Fantastic course, best investment I made. Simple and easy to use, however, I found the grammar really hard going so if you are not mother tongue English you may find the grammar difficult but there is an amazing amount of info on Google. The course teachers and examiners are really helpful and gave me great advice along the way especially with my assignments. I had to redo every test twice because of the grammar but you can click on the answers to find out which ones you got wrong and just study these without having to relearn everything all over again, then simply resubmit with correct answers and the original ones you got right. I finished with 82% High Merit, I missed distinction by 3% which was really frustrating as you are unable to redo any if the tests once passed, I would like to have opportunity to redo some to improve my score as to miss distinction by 3% is my only complaint.”

“I chose the online course mixed with 20 hours of face-to-face teaching and I'm glad I did as I could learn the theory through the extremely informative and comprehensible online segment of the course, and then put it into practice during the face-to-face teaching. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with all aspects of the course, I have only just finished but already I am receiving emails of job opportunities and assistance which goes to show the their help and support doesn't end once you've completed the course.”

“The course was easy to manage. Even though there was such an extensive amount of information the bite size modules made it easy to digest. There was lots of external resources and i feel as confident as possible in my abilities now without any actual classroom teaching practice. Despite no actual practice the weekend course was enjoyable and informative, but i would have recommended doing the classroom part at the end rather than the start as i was a bit out of my depth.”

“I have just completed the 120 hour TEFL academy course and would highly recommend this course to anyone interested. The material presented in each module is very useful and interesting. And it`s easy to follow this course even if you are not native speacker. The online feedback from tutor was constructive and it gave me the confidence that my work was being assessed in a professional manner. Although I must admit that the End of Course Assignments were quite difficult for me. Overall, this course is good value for money. So if you are looking for good TEFL course you should choose The TEFL Academy!”

“I feel like I've really achieved something which will make my CV stand out. It was nice to do in my own time, knowing I'd get a qualification at the end of it and didn't ever feel like I was doing 'homework'. I enjoyed doing the course and I feel like it has taught me a lot about grammar which I hadn't fully understood beforehand, therefore it has already benefitted me in my university studies, let alone future job prospects which I intend on applying for in the next year.”

“The course is very professional and well structured. The first half of the course is broken down into modules covering specific aspects of teaching and grammar. As I work in languages, the grammar was not new to me. Obviously some people might find this a bit of a challenge and will perhaps need to spend more time on it than I did. However, the lessons are well explained and start from basics, so anyone who is unfamiliar with English grammar is not thrown in at the deep end. The second half is made up of assignments which were quite demanding in my view and required me to sit down and think a lot about how I was going to tackle them. I suppose that's what they are there for, to make you think. All in all, I thought the course was very good value for the money paid.”

“Firstly the staff members are amazing and go out of their way to help you get started with your course. Secondly the course materials are really simple to follow, easy to understand and very informative, aids not only in TEFL teaching practice but also with other teaching practices. Lastly the moderators and assessors are brilliant. They provide you with perfect feedback on assignments and they tell you where to improve and where you went wrong. “I the contents of the course is simple, easy to use, easy to understand and the way TEFL has broken down the reading into smaller sections, so you don't get overwhelmed with all the reading. I learnt more English with this course than I did in high school. Thank you TEFL Academy and your examiners. They are a big help on pointing out what you did wrong and how to fix it without breaking your confidence and self esteem.”

“The two day class was very informative and friendly. The teacher was welcoming and reassuring. The online part inspired and encouraged me as I learnt about teaching. It let me know that help was available if needed and no question was too silly. As an older student confidence was lacking but as the course progressed Tefl guided and I began to see that the end goal was not only achievable but also enjoyable as each task was completed.”
