“I recently completed the TEFL level 5 online course. I loved every moment. The coursework was interesting and challenging. I've always wanted to have a teaching qualification, even just as a back-up or fall back. I learned so much, and had such a great journey with the TEFL Academy. To top this all - just when I thought things couldn't get better - once I'd completed the level 5 course, I was able to use a coupon that I'd received with my enrolment to apply for a 30-hour online teaching top up course, which I am currently busy with. The fact that the course is so flexible makes it really great for anyone wanting to study part time. I would certainly recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone who wants to teach English.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Acadamy. It provides comprehensive information to teach English as a 2nd language covering both active English use such as spoken English and written English as well as passive skills such as reading and listening. The tutors are highly competent and knowledgeable. They are also prompt in answering queries and marking the assignments.”

“I've just finished the Level 5 course and I can say that it has been a pleasurable experience. Even though the methodology is online and it involves a lot of individual work, the tutors were always happy to help whenever I needed it. The content was great, useful and up-to-date. I will certainly be using plenty of the resources they gave me in my future classes, as well as their lessons. Thank you!”

“I was looking for a new certification to boost my career and after too much research I've found this amazing course that is TEFL Level 5. I completed it online, at my own pace and I really enjoyed that the course is straightforward and especially the unit about lesson planning. I feel that this course taught in about 3 months what I've taken 3 years to learn at University. I'm so glad I took the course and I would highly recommend it to English teachers who are looking for a certificate that allows them to teach in other countries.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy. I am currently a secondary school teacher in the UK but fancied a change and decided to study this course whilst continuing with my career in my day-to-day life as I have been considering moving abroad. I loved that this course was something I could study in the evening and around my current role. The course is very informative, providing lots of advice and descriptions related to the various topics. I particularly enjoyed participating in the end of unit exams, as it gave me drive and something to work towards each week/couple of weeks and provided me with a sense of achievement once I had completed them. There are lots of resources and further reading/research activities and the coursework projects were graded and returned extremely quickly, I was very impressed and would recommend studying this course.”

The support is excellent and the feedback on your assignments is very detailed. I loved this course and after completion felt confident to start teaching. I also love the fact that they offer extra short courses to specialise in the areas you'd like to learn more about.”

“I'll be honest. Being a native English speaker, I thought I'd fly through this course with ease. I didn't! The course is very in-depth and prepares you well for your role as a teacher. The course at first seems a little expensive, especially considering all the 'Groupon' type TEFL courses which can be picked up for next to nothing. Well don't be fooled, they're not worth the paper they're printed on. You get what you pay for with this course. There is a good reason why it's rated amongst the best TEFL courses out there, and why the certificate is so widely recognised and well accredited, both in the UK and USA. If you want a TEFL qualification and are willing to put in the work, don't sell yourself short by doing one that won't be recognised in the real world. Go with The TEFL Academy.”

“I found the TEFL level 5 course (168 hours) very easy to navigate and very useful in terms of the learning material. As a teacher of 8 years, I still learnt new things through this course. The guidance received on how to go about doing your assignments is amazing and the feedback is very constructive. If you are committed you can get through the course in less than 3 months. I feel that I am equipped to start a new online teaching career.”
