“Covering a wide range of topics, from grammar and linguistic, lesson planning to more specific psychological and pedagogical topics, the 120 hours course gives you an overview of how successfully plan a lesson for students of different levels and ages. The Student service was very responsive, excellent timing for the assignment feedback and to issue the Certificate of completion. Thank you TEFL Academy!”

“The 120 hours TEFL Academy is an excellent course to get introduced to the world of teaching. It provides resources and knowledge to successfully plan a lesson for students of different age and level, including grammar, linguistic, pedagogical topics and activities. The course gives access to the TEFL jobs board and tips for CV which are very helpful for any job applications. Highly recommended!”

“The course was well structured and great. It took me 4 months to complete it. The support team is so great and are quick to respond to emails and resolve any enquiries. I would have like to have spent less time on grammar that module was too long. I would not hesitate recommending the course to anyone. Great knowledge which I know I will be able to use. I received an offer to teach in China, I know the TEFL academy gave me the foundation I need before I embark on this journey.”

“One of the best courses ever! I've just passed my 120 hours course and I can't thank the Academy enough for all the information, techniques and tips I've learned. Thanks to the interactive activities done throughout the course I am now aware of all the teaching skills a good teacher needs. The final assignments really helped me to put in practice what I've been studying in each module. I am currently working for an english private school and online company. I would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone who wants to teach and get a TEFL certification.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the course from beginning to end. The course outlines are very detailed and each module is I'm depth with regards to how to go about teaching reading, or listening, grammar, lesson planning and so forth. Each module was set out thoughtfully, especially for someone like me who has never taught before! My tutor Judy Nel was also very amazing and she always listened to my questions and gave amazing feedback. We still keep in touch via our little WhatsApp group that was created for all the students that enrolled and started the class with me. We all help each other and keep in touch on a regular basis. I honestly would recommend this course to anyone wanting to do a certificate in a TEFL Course. You won't revert it! Taahiera from South Africa”

“It was a very comprehensive course, well organised and very informative. I feel that it has given me all the skills I need to make a start as a teacher and there was plenty of followup information included to give me further ideas and practice. Not only that but the feedback on the final assignments was excellent with useful advice and materials that I would find useful. I would recommend the course to anyone looking to teach English in a way that is engaging and interesting to students and I'm looking forward to finding my first teaching job soon.”

“I decided to go to this great course in order to change my career. This course is very organized and the instructor is very helpful and friendly. It successfully blended with theory and practical and both online and in-classroom training. (2 days only). However, your classmates you met become your life-long friends. This is very awesome. Also TEFL academy offers some internships to help student put their theory to the test and gain more working experience. I highly recommend TEFL Academy if my friends want to become an English teacher teaching overseas!”

“I have really enjoyed my experience with the TEFL academy. Questions and queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and all of the TEFL staff were very professional and competent. The weekend course provided valuable teaching experience. My only criticism would be that the second assignment potentially needs a little rethinking as I didn’t find the exercise particularly beneficial or clear. I was impressed by all of the resources and additional aids provided by the TEFL academy, and overall would really recommend this company for anyone interested in taking the first steps towards teaching English as a foreign language.”

“I began the 120 hour online course because I would like to travel after graduating next year and knew that this qualification would help me to work whilst travelling. However I did not expect to enjoy the course so much. The lessons were very straightforward and easy to follow and the interactive aspect made the content much easier to learn and appreciate. The regular online tests also reinforced the new knowledge and the lesson planning structure was clearly explained. The two assignments enabled me to finalise all that I had learnt and I would feel confident taking a lesson plan into a class and teaching English, which I wasn't expecting before starting the course. There was always plenty of help and advice available throughout and after completing the course and I am now very excited to travel the world and teach English!”
