“TEFL Academy ran a fantastic course that I completed and received my certificate through 3 days ago and I've already used lots of the information and training from it in Skype interviews with schools! It's a great course that helps not just with the theory but allows you the chance to practice the practical side too. I can see me using a lot of my assignments in my teaching in the future. I am very glad that I chose to take a 120 hr course as all of the schools I have applied to so far have requested 120 hours for the certificate. The classroom aspect is also really helpful as 80% of the schools I have contacted requested to know about what experience I have had previously, so without the classroom aspect I would have been stuck! I haven't used the job placement aspect much as I've been looking for very specific schools on my own - so this is the only part that I can't comment on. I really enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone - it's great that you can take the assignments at your own pace”

“I have just received my 100 hour home study TEFL certificate and can honestly say the experience was brilliant. The online aspect was well organised and the feedback was so helpful and insightful; it really helped with later assignments. I do feel that as a University student, I was at an advantage in terms of being able to write essays at a high standard and would recommend anyone who has been out of education for a substantial period of time, to brush up on their essay writing skills before embarking on this course. BUT, with all the information the TEFL academy provides you with, you should have everything you could possibly need! I now look forward to tutoring in this country before moving abroad next year hopefully! A great course that I would recommend to anyone and everyone that has a passion for teaching, the English language and seeing the world! Loved every minute of it! Thank you for a brilliant experience!!! Good Luck on your journey!”

“I have just received my 100 hour home study TEFL certificate alongside my 20 hour practical certificate. Overall I am extremely happy with course of study that I chose. After much research I decided that the TEFL Academy best suited my needs as they offered a flexible online course which must be completed within 12 months. The flexibility of the course enabled me to read around each module before completing each assignment which enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of the module topic - I was able to do this at my own pace. I was very impressed with the prompt assignment marking and feedback which was provided. The online course covers a healthy range of content which will be useful for any TEFL environment. I have now secured employment within the TEFL industry. I highly recommend the 120 course offered by the TEFL Academy. Good luck.”

“I found both the practical session and Online content provided both informative, easy to understand and helpful in terms of being applied to actual classroom teacher. The online content and assessments were very well explained, and the feedback and grading was extremly quick with detailed feedback and development areas highlighted. The classroom session was fantastic and my instructor gave some great ideas of classroom management and suggested course books to buy in order to support our course study. I would recommend this course to anyone hoping to teach English as a foreign language!”

“After spending a good 4 or 5 years wanting to do a course like this, I finally got myself enrolled and started in January. It was without a doubt, the best decision I could have made. The weekend course is engaging and fun, though very tiring but hey, that's what hard work is all about. The online course is set out extremely well, with an easy to follow pace that introduces key aspects of teaching in just the right order. The assignments are thought provoking and enable you to really begin thinking like a teaching right from the word go, and if you need any advice or guidance, support is literally just a click away and the response times are usually same day. The timescales for assignments to be marked is outstanding and overall, I'm extremely impressed with the level of professionalism The TEFL Academy has shown. I highly recommend them!”

“I recently completed my TEFL 120hr course with the TEFL Academy. 20hrs in the classroom and 100hrs online. Sarah, the instructor in Bristol, was exceptionally informative and made the classroom hours very enjoyable. The 100hrs online were clear and concise making it easy to follow and complete each module. I highly recommend the TEFL academy.”

“I would definitely recommend the 120 hour TEFL course. The weekend course was informative and instructive and the course leader was friendly and helpful, in addition, she taught us using the same teaching methods we should be using in the classroom which provided a useful example of how it all works in practice so that we could apply it ourselves later. The online portion of the course was also very useful, and the support and feedback from the online tutors was constructive and informative. I have definitely learnt a lot!”

“A great course with a company who provide 24/7 support! I was very pleased with how informative my instructor was. The only improvement I could think of would be the teaching practice. This course opened a world of opportunities up to me! I was able to complete it alongside my Alevels so it is perfect for people who need the freedom to work at their own paces.”

“The TEFL academy 120 hour course is a really positive experience and prepares one well for teaching English as a foreign language. It is very intensive and certainly not for the faint hearted, but every part of it is purposeful and meaningful. I recommend it to anyone serious about teaching English as a foreign language.”

“I am very pleased with the overall TEFL experience. The course venue was conveniently located in Central London and the Course Tutor, Liz, was very positive, competent, enthusiastic and inspirational. Liz made me feel very comfortable and positive. The Course was well-structured and provided very useful websites and links. The online tutors provided me with timely constructive and meaningful feedback. I would definitely recommend the TEFL Academy to any teacher wishing to pursue an EFL Teaching career abroad.”

“When I first signed up to do the course on The TEFL Academy I did not know what to expect. What attracted me most about it was the 20 hour face to face component and all for a good price (£175) as most of the other courses that involved face-to-face were more expensive. The 20 hour face to face was the most valuable and useful part of the course as I got to fully understand and practice teaching to the class which was fun and enjoyable. On top of that I met some wonderful people that all share the same passion and goals as me. It was quite intensive but for someone who has not had any previous teaching experience I learnt so much and was prepared to undertake the 100 hours online. The assessments were very good ways of measuring knowledge as lesson plans are what we will have to actually do in the real job! Feedback was prompt and I received my certificate within 3 days of completing the course. I hope to successfully find a job using the knowledge I have learnt. Well worth the money!”

“I personally loved this course as a further education goal it was perfect. I enjoyed the weekend up in London doing the 2 day practical classroom learning it was brilliant it was taught to the class in a manner that we should be teaching our students in a Tefl classroom. I found the modules easy to follow and clear as to what I was expected to cover in each module.”

“My whole experience with The TEFL Academy has been great. We had a fantastic teacher on the 20 hours face to face course. She was funny and she taught us lots of good stuff. I 've learnt so much. The 100 hours online course was nicely organised and very clearly explained, everything you needed to know. The tutors' feedback helped me a lot to make my work better. I had to contact The TEFL Academy admin twice and they were very quick to respond and fix the problem. I' ve recommend The TEFL Academy to some of my friends and they are going to join the course very soon. I am hoping to find a TEFL job for summer.”

“I choose Teaching English in a foreign language (TEFL) course, because it is a popular travel, work experience and employment option. It’s a great way to earn money and see the world at the same time. After looking and exploring various schools within the UK, I found that the TEFL Academy was the best choice. The reasons behind my choice was the verity of locations around the UK, not only that the price was a very big factor in choosing the TEFL Academy, at £195.00 it was a fantastic price to pay. The TEFL Academy also offers lots of job prospects which keep being updated regularly, so you can start your teaching journey around the world. Another reason why I chose the course was that it gave me satisfaction knowing the course was internationally recognised and accredited by the World TEFL Accredited Commission. My overall experience of the course has been FANTASTIC, the teachers have been lovely and very helpful both on the 20hours teaching and as well as online. The TEFL Academy teachers and staff have always taken their time in helping me with any questions I had. my overall TEFL experience has given me the confidence to go out and teach, I feel both confident and excited in teaching people across the globe and I would recommend the course to any one. “I truly received value for my money as a student on the TEFL Academy's 120 hour TEFL course, in that the tutor feedback to submitted work was very prompt/timely and postive-motivating me to do better each time I submitted my work: and I did do better,-I obtained a final result of pass with distinction! The TEFL Academy tutors timely and encouraging feedback offer the type of teaching methodology that the UK Teaching professional Bodies should award!”
