“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL training. What an excellent course. The academic level was high thus challenged me which I really appreciated. This training equips you with the skills and knowledge to launch a career in foreign language teaching. It is well structured and covers all topics required, well. The assessment and feedback is excellently handled. Unit quizzes and tests are automatically graded. The written assignments are marked timeously and the feedback is constructive, fair and balanced. I highly recommend this training.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course through the TEFL Academy. I was extremely thrilled with the service I received in terms of the response times to my queries and the marking of assignments. The content of the course was thoroughly informative and provided a well rounded approach for teaching English to non-native speakers. I now feel more confident in my own abilities to teach others. “I studied the L5 TEFL qualification and found it to be very helpful, insightful and thorough. Having worked in primary education for many years, I wanted to branch out and do something slightly different. I gained a great deal of useful information in relation to how to plan lessons and how to teach English to both young and older students. The information provided is clear and the quizzes and required assignments ensure everyone who passes this qualification has actually studied and done so legitimately. I would thoroughly recommend this qualification through this company.”

“I decided to study TEFL while pondering a career change, and while I'm yet to begin teaching, I'm very glad that I did it. I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course and I now feel ready to start looking for work. The course content was thorough and I like the interactive elements that helped to mix it up. The instant feedback via short knowledge checks and tests was very useful. The assignments were detailed and took more time than I was expecting, but the level of detail and the thorough feedback that was given have provided me with reassurance that The TEFL Academy is a leader in what they do. I would love to see a little more content about teaching English online, as this was my preferred option even before starting the course. Overall I am very happy with the experience and would highly recommend it. Just be prepared to put in the work!”

“I am a happily married mature (43 year) mother with two beautiful teenage daughters. We have owned small family business in Somerset West, Cape Town, South Africa since 2001, and I have worked in a couple of industries whilst assisting my husband in the office. In 2011 we sold our home and put all our hard earned money and savings into purchasing the Cape Town branch of the business which was an opportunity not to be missed. I then stopped working to assist with the business full time, we thought that the business will take care of us long term and give our daughters an opportunity to own their own business one day after they completed their studies, but this was not the plan set out for us. So in the last 4 years we saw a huge decline in sales and with the economy crises in SA and the entire world it has hit us extremely hard and we needed to use ALL our savings to keep the business running. Last year I did a bookkeeping course and am now working as a bookkeeper for a friend to get some experience, then I heard about TEFL which has become such an excellent platform for individuals and I spoke to a friend who did the course and is making a substantial amount of money every month, I decided this will be an awesome opportunity for me to work from home teaching youngsters who would like to learn this diverse and wonderful international language of English. I then decided to enroll in the Level 5 TEFL Course with high hopes that I can earn a good living for myself and my family whilst still assisting in the business and enjoying my daughters, an added bonus would be that I am making a difference in other children’s lives. I have just completed the course and passed, this was an excellent experience and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to pursue a career in making a difference. Bring it on students, I am ready for you!”

“I completed my Level 5 course with The TEFL Academy. Each unit prepared me in achieving the outcomes of each assignment. They were not easy! But obtaining such a certification isn't meant to be easy otherwise everyone would be doing it. Instead, I appreciated the high standard of the course work and feedback provided upon completing the assignments. No detail is spared and you will learn so much during this course. You are given 6 months to complete the course which is more than enough time, but if you feel time has gotten away from you then you are still given the opportunity to extend this. After completing my course, The TEFL Academy gave me several resources to help me find a job and in any country. This was so helpful! I would recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone who is motivated to achieve their certification. It's a journey well worth taking!”

“The Level 5 (168 hour) online course by THE TEFL Academy is truly worth the time and money. The aims and objectives of the course is detailed and achievable; even if you have no teaching experience, the content and guidance given is truly effective. The material is very well structured and practical, and units are stimulating. “I completed the combined Level 5 TEFL Course with TEFL Academy. I was more than satisfied with the professionalism and standard of this course. I would recommend the combined course, as the 2 day interactive session really helps a lot with understanding the online course, provides you the opportunity to engage with other students completing the same course as well as interaction with an experienced TEFL teacher. Our teacher went out of her way to not only teach course material, but also enlightening us on the whole experience of being a TEFL teacher. TEFL Academy is definitely recommendable if you want to ensure you are prepared for the TEFL life.”
