“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) with the TEFL Academy and am very pleased with the support that I received. The assignments were all marked with constructive feedback to help for future assignments. The learning was all clear and I learnt a lot from it! Would definitely recommend to others!”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168) hours. The course is a mixture of online work, 3 assignments which need to be submitted and a 20 hours classroom module which was face to face. I really really enjoyed the 20 hour (2 day) practical part of the course - it was great to meet people from all walks of life who were studying the same course, even managed to leave with a new friend. I think this aspect of the course also helped build my confidence a little with regards to my ability as sometimes when you are working remotely online alone some of the content could become very intimidating. I found some of the work quite demanding but that was probably down to the fact that I was studying some aspects of the English language that I hadn't even heard of before. The small understanding tasks within the units were a useful way of revising. If I could add or change one thing, I would create an online forum for people studying the course. There were moments were the self doubt set in and it would have been nice to be able to get some reassurances that you were on the right track. However, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone considering getting a qualification of this kind.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed studying with The TEFL Academy and found all aspects of the course highly motivational and rewarding. Although I had been giving lessons voluntarily over the past 8 years, the course has now given me the confidence and skills to start teaching English professionally! Would definitely recommend!”

“Excellent program. I did the 120 hour (online) with a combined weekend course at a discounted price, and even though in between my enrolment date and completion date I had to take a year-long break from the course, the team was phenomenal at answering my query swiftly about how to re-enrol. It is a fantastic qualification to have, and the team provides outstanding support for all.”

“I have just completed the level 5 tefl course (168hrs) I chose the online only course as I’m living in rural France and there were no course venues near me. I really enjoyed this course. It is very informative and provides a lot of great teaching tips. It’s explains how to plan lessons well and provides you with lesson ideas planning ideas and templates,and provide a lot of external sites to help you along the way and after. The support from the academy is great they are quick to reply and very supportive but I didn’t need a lot of support as course was so clearly explained and easy to follow. It’s a lot of work and assignments take time to complete but it’s worth it in the end. I would recommend this course.”

“The TEFL Academy provides a very well organized online course including modules, exams and support from teachers. The modules were accurate and structured in a way that keep the course interesting by giving the right amount of information. Eventhough the process of exams was long and quite difficult they served as an incentive to learn and improve. Moreover, the two End Assignments are a proof of our level in essay writing, indipendence and creativity in writing. The instructions for the assignments were clear and help to come out with a good academic work. Also, the comments provided by the teachers at the end were very constructive and educational. Overall, I would recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone.”

“I’m very proud to say that I recently completed the online Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours). Being no computer genius, I was amazed at how easy I found it to navigate through the course. The modules are well-structured and comprehensive. The challenging nature of the three assignments gives you a deep sense of accomplishment, once you have completed it. A big thanks to all at the TEFL Academy – the administrative staff, the tutors and the markers! I would absolutely recommend the TEFL Academy!”

“Amazing course that has a lot to offer to anyone and everyone with different needs. The course is structured in a way that is easy to use and not messy. The assignments are very detailed and give clear and concise instructions so that it is easily followed and you know what you're doing. Such an amazing price for what you're getting and it sets you up brilliantly to become a teacher. TEFL Academy also give you tips and advice even when you're finished so they set you up for success and on the path of finding a job abroad. I've recommended 3 people to sign up already and they all love it too!”

“I have to admit I didn't like the idea of having to study something again. Then, I started this course and it didn't feel like studying at all. Doing something when and if you have time was completely new to me. The first assignment was a disaster for me. I didn't know what I was doing. The tutor was very helpful with creative feedback and explanation about was expected of me. Every lesson was useful and it wasn't expected to memorize but to understand lessons and put it in practice when you do the assignment. Responses are prompt and in time for anything. Thanks for the great experience.”
