“Completing the 120-hour online course with TEFL Academy has been a fantastic life changing experience for me. Initially I wasn’t sure how I would manage with the online learning that is involved in the course. However, I needn’t have worried at all! The materials were excellent throughout, engaging me in active learning activities using module workbooks and regular online feedback. I felt that the content prepared me very well for the online tests at the end of each module, and it was motivating to get the results of each test immediately. I really liked being able to work in my own time and at my own pace throughout the course. I found the assignments challenging but enjoyable, and the tutor feedback was positive and constructive. The e-ticket system worked well for me. I got a quick response from a tutor to a problem that I had and this was resolved in a very satisfactory way. Overall, the course is truly excellent value all round and I would definitely recommend it to others.”

“The TEFL academy was extremely organised and efficient, the downloadable workbooks allow you to keep track of your work plus they will always be available to you in the future when teaching. The modules are challenging but fair and the exams at the end are very specific and relevant to the module taken. When completing final assignments the tutors are punctual and helpful.”

“TEFL Academy refreshed my knowledge of the English language and how to teach it. It provided a lot of good tips how to properly execute a class and reminded me of all the important things a teacher must know. Lesson planning, analyzing students' needs, making sure all the students are catered for. The online module work was easy to understand and very informative. Workbooks could be incorporated straight into the module as opposed to having a separate document and having to click between the two, but it wasn't a major issue. My favorite part was the 20 hour intensive course. That's where I learned the most. We had practical teaching experience twice, also under bit of time pressure, so it really made us think hard and be very resourceful. I think for future courses there should be more in-class experience if possible. It was much more valuable than for example the module on the history of TEFL. As far as content goes, parts that focused on language were very well explained in a brief manner that wasn't too tedious. It was nice to see grammar and vocabulary and also phonetics being explained since it's been quite some time ago that I've studied it myself. My only complaint that a lot of the teaching advice is focused more on teaching advanced classes and not too much on teaching complete beginners and children. I would definitely recommend it (already have actually) and would even be interested in a more expanded version of the course. Overall I found the course really helpful, well put together, the feedback for both my assignments were insightful and I feel like it benefited me a lot. Thank you, TEFL Academy.”

“The course of TEFL Academy made me understand that all the components and the skills of the English language can be taught. I have already been teaching for 4 years and I put immediately into practice what I learned from this course. I had the chance to see at first hand that my classes became much more effective and interesting than before. My lesson plans are now more accurate and I approach much more precisely the aims I have for my students!”

“The course is well structured and interesting with lots of additional material to follow up. The weekend in class was interested as well and tutors were supportive and helpful, replying in a time and very nicely manner. I uploaded the last assignment just the day before to finish the course but the tutors kept me updated me about the results. I am very happy I completed the course.”

“Great support during the learning process. Easy to understand progression in the course content and your learning. There was a quick turn around of your grade once you submitted your assignments along with extensive feedback. I also liked the fact that there was an intensive part where you could ask questions to the instructor in person as well as the online learning part for your own study that you did in your own time. I think it would have been beneficial to have studied some of the online content before going into the intensive weekend so not everything was so new but that would just be a personal preference as everything you are exposed to on the weekend is explained very well. Over all I had a great experience with TEFL Academy and would honestly recommend anyone interested in getting a TEFL certification to do it with TEFL Academy.”

“I was worried at first whether I would have time to accomplish the 120-hour TEFL certificate as I work full-time. However, the structure of the online course is easy to use and well organised. The assignment's were a little challenging, although I really enjoyed the process of learning to create lesson plans and the feedback was always detailed and helpful. The online course took me back to the basics of my native language. I learnt so much about English grammar and have improved my own language skills. The 20hour weekend course was really fun and insightful. Our tutor was fantastic! She was really inspiring and supportive. Overall, the course has given me the knowledge and tools to become a well-motivated English teacher and has made me excited for my future.”
