“As an older student wanting to begin TEFL, I needed to find an exemplary course. The Level 5 TEFL course at The TEFL Academy, which I have just completed, proved to be that. The logical progression and clear explanations, along with the wealth of resources made even the harder concepts easier to understand. The depth and breadth of the material allow you to further your studies and gain valuable insights. Tests clearly showed what needed revisiting, and practical Assignments solidified the learning material. The Assignment feedback was detailed, informative, and helpful. I now have the skills, resources, and confidence to start my TEFL journey, and have already found opportunities to further my experience, all thanks to this particular course.”

“All throughout this course, I have received high-quality TEFL instruction which has taught me a variety of effective strategies for teaching English as a Foreign Language. The content was interesting and engaging, and all of the tutors provided feedback and support in a timely manner. In addition to this, the varied assignments and the additional suggested readings and activities have increased my confidence regarding teaching in a TEFL classroom. Overall, I feel very prepared and suitably trained to begin my career in TEFL, and I strongly advise others to complete the course too.”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course in 2020 and found it a really rewarding and enjoyable experience, the course is so well laid out and there are interesting activities and challenging assignments throughout, which keep you on your toes and consolidate what you've learned in the previous units. There is assistance available at all times from tutors via a ticketing system, which is so reassuring. Overall I would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking of pursuing a career in TEFL.”

“I’ve just completed the level 5 TEFL course 180h. I’m so glad I finally completed it. It has been very helpful for me, the modules cover many different topics related to teaching. You will not be disappointed with this course and it tell you everything you need to do to teach different types of students.”

“The Level 5 TEFL course is very insightful. The course touch on different areas one will need to know when teaching English, for example, lesson planning, ESL terminology, a few units that focus on grammar and parts of speech, how to evaluate materials, how to manage a class. The knowledge I gained, I can use in the classroom but also in everyday life. The support teams respond quickly and answer all your questions. I will definitely recommend The TEFL Academy and the Level 5 Online course to everyone.”

“Hi there. I finished my level 5 TEFL course in Dec 2020. I had a great time doing the course. I enjoyed the clear layout and straight forward instructions. The course does a good job of covering all the important areas needed to enable one to teach English. I also enjoyed the variety of activities, keeping my attention focussed. The course is not easy nor very difficult, and I found the assignments challenging and stimulating. I would recommend this to anyone looking at educating themselves so that they can get a good understanding of what is needed to start teaching English. Many thanks!”

“I studied the online level 5 (168 hrs) course as I thought it gave me the best qualification and it was really useful being able to study at home...especially in the year 2020. I was recommended this course by a friend and I now have several friends who have done the same. Having studied languages and now living abroad this course just brought a lot of things I had previously studied altogether and put it into context. It was really interesting thinking about how languages work and comparing different languages and for teaching purposes too! If you are interested in teaching then I would say choose this course as it will help you decide if it is something you wish to pursue. I cant wait to put what I have learnt into practice and see more of the benefits. Thank you TEFL for providing a concise but instructive and up to date course. I am really glad I bought this course and am delighted with what I have achieved through it.”

“I signed up for the TEFL 5 course during my time of unemployment due to COVID19. It was an idea I had for a while and chose to take advantage of the time I had. I was a little nervous, but actually enjoyed learning. The assignments (A B C) were somewhat challenging and my stress was more in the waiting for the response of my earned score. (Constructive criticism) In all, it what a pleasurable and rewarding experience taking this course and it has boosted my confidence now that I've received my certification. Email and phone calls to TEFL where always attended to very professionally.”

“I completed the online level 5 TEFL course and it had its difficulties however, it was very easy to overcome these difficulties with the many resources given to me by The Tefl Academy as well as the online tutoring support. This is a great course to do to earn a good income full time and travel! It’s also a great side job.”

“The TEFL Academy is an institution whose values are evidently rooted in professionalism and quality learning. “Before attempting the Level 5 TEFL course I've never did an online course and I believed I was too old to study the teaching course. All my fears were for nothing. I was genuinely surprised by the clear lesson material and instructions. The course provided the challenge and excellent quality I expected. The extensive feedback I received on the assignments proofed the competence level of the instructors. In the beginning I was worried the six months won't be enough to complete the course but I could complete it well ahead of the end of the period. I would gladly recommend this course to anyone interested in doing it.”
