“I did my Level 5 TEFL Course and was nervous to start. Will it be difficult; the content, the assignments, the exams? Once I started studying, I realized that the content of all the units given are written in a simple language. Everything is in chronological order, which makes it super easy and simple to do the assignments and exams. Best investment I have ever made :)”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL course and found it interesting and really useful. Course itself is easy to navigate and full of helpful tips and resources. Assignments were varied and made you really think about what you've learnt. My rating would be higher but for two things. I waited 11 days for my second assignment to be marked and I couldn't even find out what the situation was until I bought an extension. This was annoying but the main issue for me was that it wasn't possible to speak to anyone who could answer academic questions. I'd tried the support ticket system and had an email back but it was obvious that they hadn't read my question properly as the answer referred to the bit of the assignment I had a query on but in no way addressed my actual issue. I would much prefer to be able to speak on the phone to a tutor to get an immediate answer. (R. Williams - Only submitted as 'anonymous' because other option includes all names.)”

“I had an excellent experience in the course, at first I was very afraid of the corrections, but they were the best thing that could have happened to me, I learned a lot, they were always there for any questions and they answered as soon as possible, I finished the course very happy and learning a lot , different teaching methods and types of activities.”

“My experience with The TEFL Academy was very smooth and much more interesting than I had originally imagined. I specifically enjoyed the section on the International Phonetic Alphabet, and I found the majority of the content well summarised and well presented. If not for the many spelling and grammar errors throughout the course, I would've given a 5 star rating. “I completed my studies for the Level 5 TEFL Course recently and found the coursework relevant and invigorating. Having taught in classes previously, I figured it would be a cake walk for me. I was wrong. I felt challenged and agonized over each project to "get it right". I highly recommend this course. You WILL get your Money's worth. It s an excellent value.”

“Excellent course! I've just completed the Qualify Level 5 Certificate in TEFL. I'm very proud of myself seeing that I've done my degree 21 years ago. It was a bit of a challenge to stay focused after so many years but thanks to lockdown, I had enough time to give it a good go in the beginning. Well, I'm qualified now as a TEFL teacher and ready to teach. Give it a try, you won't be sorry!”

“Over the 6 months of the course, I spent a couple of evenings doing the roughly hour-long lesson slides then about two hours a day for two weeks completing each assignment. I did all this around a part-time job and looking after family and never felt like I would run out of time. The staff were very helpful and answered any queries, both before starting the course and during, and feedback on assignments was fast, encouraging and informative. I was already tutoring EFL, but still felt I learned a lot from this course and it also provided some very useful tips on where to find some brilliant material for lessons. Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and its content and feel prepared to pursue a more serious career in teaching because of it.”

“I studied the Level 5 Tefl course, I thoroughly enjoyed the course as it challenged me and often made me think out of the box. The combination of short quizzes and assignments kept things interesting and pushed me to work harder. The feedback from the assignments was always positive but showed that there is always room for improvement. After completing my course I feel ready to take on any challenges my teaching career may hold.”

“Engaging course. Good, useful content. The assignments required a lot of thought, research, and planning. They are very time consuming. I spent a number of weekends on them. I’m pleased the course is of a high educational standard. The grammar modules were challenging and most vital since as a native speaker I had learned grammar naturally and not formally. The content in this course went beyond anything taught in school. I chose this course as it’s level 5 (168 hours) and well accredited. It took me about four months to complete. I enjoyed it and learnt a lot. I recommend this course to others. The Level 5 is of course longer and more challenging than Level 3 (120 hours) offered by other institutions. But it’s worth it as Level 5 gives graduates more employment opportunities.”

“Very good course! Taught me everything about English that I needed to know. Gave me lots of helpful information needed for teaching. They give you access to their job board which is great. When you complete assignments, their feedback is super helpful and detailed. Would recommend The Tefl Academy to a friend.”

“I have had a passion for teaching within me since a very young age, after a bad experience on my first attempt of teaching I thought it wasn't for me. However, a few years later, I managed to find a summer job teaching English in Spain, where I live. I enjoyed it so much that with part of the money I earnt I wanted to invest it in further qualifications for teaching English abroad. I then found The TEFL Academy course, and I couldn't be happier that I chose to sign up back in November. I have now completed the course and the free top-up course and I feel so much more confident in my teaching skills for the future, I'm hoping to work as an EFL teacher online soon. I fully recommend their course, it has taught me so much, it is very well done, the system is similar to my university, that's how professional it is. I have nothing negative to comment about it, I promise you won't regret doing it!”
