“The TEFL Academy is the ideal place to get qualified as a TEFL teacher and to open the door to liberating opportunities. If you are thinking about doing a TEFL course I would highly recommend the TEFL Academy. Their online level 5 TEFL course will not only qualify you for numerous jobs both online and abroad but it will also more than adequately prepare you to excel at this work. I feel confident that I will be able to do this kind of work well, after completing the course. The online course provides an opportunity for busy students, or professionals to do the course in their own time. The TEFL Academy is easy to work with. Communication with the TEFL Academy is exceptional. While I was doing my course the TEFL Academy always went above and beyond to clarify any questions I had and to help me succeed in my coursework. Feedback was given promptly, and the members of staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to do my course here. I would recommend this course to any job-seeker. It equips those who complete the course to do engaging and meaningful work either online or abroad. Teaching English as a foreign language is a fantastic way to generate income. “I had a great experience learning from the 168 hour TEFL program offered by the TEFL Academy. They were great with their service, the content was easy to digest and the assignments gave me a feeling that I was actually learning, and made me feel ready to start teaching. “I really enjoyed the process of going through this course's content. I felt that the course was well organized and the support from The TEFL Academy team is very well-structured and all my queries were responded to within 24 hours. I really enjoyed the range of assignments that were given and I also appreciate the challenge that was presented in these assignments, as I felt that they are a true reflection of the tasks that would actually have to be done as an online ESL teacher. I also really liked the fact that I was able to choose the pace that I could take while completing this course and that my completion of the course all relied on my personal diligence. The only constructive criticism I have for this course is that I think it would be of benefit to everyone if the course content was maybe transferred into a PowerPoint structure or PDF form to make note-making easier. But other than that, I felt like the course really helped me and I appreciate all the effort done by the TEFL Academy team!”

“I would highly recommend learning with The TEFL Academy! Having just completed the Level 5 TEFL course, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and am so excited to start my new career as an ESL teacher. Having recently lost a job due to the pandemic, the course was something I could get my teeth stuck into and made me feel like I was studying something worthwhile. I now feel ready to start teaching students and am thrilled that I now have a recognised qualification and transferable skill which I can take with me wherever I am in the world. The content of the course is well structured and easy to understand, with activities throughout and tests at the end of each unit to check your understanding. The assignments are challenging but motivated me to push myself and assured me that I had chosen the right course. Whenever I needed to contact the tutors they responded immediately and were incredibly supportive. Thanks for helping me on my journey, The TEFL Academy!”

“I had already passed an 180 hour TEFL course 1 year ago, but this is one that I found via a wowcher deal and even though I received a cert with accreditation number, I wanted to do something extra to further my new career path into tutoring. Enrolling on this course gave me the courage to quit my full time job that I worked in for 4 years to start working from home and taking back my independence in life. I already have a good pool of students and I plan on expanding that pool by applying to tutor on online learning platforms. I also feel safe in the knowledge that if I move abroad, which is highly likely one day, I have a job that I can take with me or I have the high possibility of finding work wherever I go. This course has made me feel 100% more confident in teaching compared to when I passed the previous course 1 year ago. It has really equipped me for teaching and I look forward to seeing where it is going to take me.”

“If you want to get serious about your career and need a professional course that gives you the right official certification to work as an English teacher abroad then The TEFL Academy will meet your expectations. Nowadays it is hard to get those expensive TEFL certificates advertised elsewhere. We all know their names. Well, this is a LEVEL 5 TEFL certificate approved by the same official organization behind those not so affordable ones. If affordable and LEVEL 5 is not reason enough, I don't know what else to say but the thing is that there is more: This 168 h course is rich in content, is well structured, adapted to the most recent trends in methodology, easy to access and fully functional, run by experts, real teachers with a lot of hours of work in their CVs and what is more important with empathy towards students. All along these months, that believe me, required some effort and patient study, I felt the support of the staff. So, there is no trick here, no fine print to read first. It is right what I wanted and at an incredible price!”

“I found my courses with The TEFL Academy to be very well developed. The LMS they used is intuitive and easy to learn. The course work was easy to understand. The assignments were challenging but that helps to prepare students for reality. The only issue I had were some picture links and further reading links were broken, but that's an easy thing for their Tech Support to fix. I definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to others.”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL course. I entered this adventure knowing little or nothing about TEFL courses. This particular course was markedly more substantial than I was guessing it would be. I felt proud to have successfully have completed the course. People considering this course should be forewarned that the three assignments are more than minor checks on how you are progressing. Each assignment is a considerable amount of work. In my opinion the three assignments constituted 50 to 75% of the labor required to complete the course. I initially took a particularly casual approach to the course and was just barely able to finish within the six month period. Also, this course is more than a rubber stamp. They have real people as support tutors and the assignments really are reviewed by trained teachers who give careful evaluation to the work turned in. Survival hint: read and exactly follow directions outlined in each of the assignments. This course definitely communicates that there is more to teaching English than being a native speaker.”

“The TEFL Academy is very professional and makes a personal effort to ensure that each student of theirs is on the right track and not falling behind. When I struggled with a few sections on the course, my tutor gave me extensive feedback, to the point where I was eventually able to excel throughout the duration of the course. The work covered in the course is more than enough to set you up for a successful future in teaching English online and abroad!”

“I completed my Level 5 TEFL Course with TEFL Academy on the 1st week of March, the course was super satisfactory and eye opening to a lot of things that one thought she knew before. I completed the course within the 6 given months, this was made possible by the tutors who were always a there to assistant. The responses and feedback were quick and very helpful. I look forward to starting my journey as an online teacher, and later on travel abroad as an TEFL teacher applying the wisdom and knowledge l acquired through TEFL Academy. “Having studied the Level 5 TEFL course, and being English myself I realize that English is a difficult language to learn. BUT with effort, love and care and the help of the course it is up to the Teacher to be able to make the lesson fun and interactive, in this way the learners will understand and get the gist of English.”

“The TEFL Academy was very well organized and had all of the information in a place where I could read it at a comfortable pace. The assignments all had the information listed so that all you had to do was paste the knowledge that you learned into the different templates that were given. The wait time for the mentors to grade the assignments wasn't long either, so I was able to quickly work on the next assignment as soon as the previous assignment was graded. Thank you for all that you have taught me!”

“I did the level 5 TEFL course and found it interesting and very useful. The online course material was clear with plenty of further information links to follow as needed. Feedback to assignments arrived within a week, no problems with the website and I was able to work at my own pace whenever it suited me.”
