“Studying through the TEFL academy was definitely one of the best decisions I have made. I have completed the level 5 course and it was amazing! I was able to work at my own pace. The course was detailed and structured well. The activities and tests were fun and the assignments were very clear. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to begin their journey as a teacher!”

“I can't praise this course enough. I do have some years of experience teaching online however, the material presented in the course has put things in place for me. I got a deeper understanding of teaching and got the tools for becoming an even better teacher. The staff was very responsive which is so important. Modules were comprehensive and easy to follow. Tests were logical and structured to reflect how well you understood the materials presented in the corresponding module. The assignments were a challenge. Not in a rocket science sense but you simply need to do your research which might take most of your time. You have to show that you are capable of delivering lessons and that you understand what is expected of you as a teacher. This is not one of those cheap courses - you have to work for it, but it is totally worth it! It took me 5 months to complete the course only because I work full time and have other obligations. I also took my time, not rushing it. You can finish it much sooner if you set your mind to it. Now I am ready to apply for more exciting ESL jobs! Good luck everyone, you'll love the challenge!”

“I enrolled and completed the Level 5 TEFL Certificate (168 hours): I found TEFL Academy online after trying to find a reputable organisation that offered a recognised and accredited TEFL qualification. And, I'm SO GLAD I did. TEFL Academy offers a well-paced and well-designed course with lots of helpful information, endless resources, examples and easy to follow templates. Feedback from the tutors is always informative and helps you really understand areas you've done well in and where you can improve. It was great to be able to receive real feedback from real tutors who have clearly taught in real classrooms. They also offer free top-up courses once you've completed your training. Thank you TEFL Academy for helping me start my teaching journey!”

“I had a wonderful experience studying online. The platform was easy to navigate and help was easily received through the ticket system. I felt that the test and assignments help test my knowledge of what I had learnt and I feel confident after learning the material that was provided. The extra links and recommend reading were also very helpful for me to read more about a topic if I wanted to. I would definitely recommend TEFL to others.”

“I signed up for The TEFL level 5 during the covid pandemic and despite having reduced productivity levels due to Covid, I managed to complete the course. The portal is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The feedback is very beneficial and support is outstanding. The turn-around times for feedback and queries are amazing too. thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“TEFL Level 5 - 168hs. I really liked it and found it useful. I have learnt some new skills other than the ones I've seen at Teaching Training School. But, in my opinion, I think the TEFL needs to have a bit more info on the psychology side of learning. overall it is ok, I would recommend it.”

“Well, I have always been looking for a school that can help me realise my dream, then through browsing, I came across TEFL Academy. I should say my browsing paid me off. The course is well structured in that, I was able to study and follow through despite my busy schedule. The fact that I could learn at my pace, the course allowed me not only to acquire the teaching skills but also made self - improvements in the English language. The Staffs at TEFL were always available and helpful within a short period. I appreciated the fact that the school provided more useful links that allowed me to have further understanding. Once my normal work gets less busy, I am enrolling for teaching Business English. TEFL”

“I'm so happy I have finished the Level 5 TEFL course, it was a very nice experience! The lessons are gradually formed, very engaging and easy to follow. A lot is covered, and all three assignments were set to check understanding, not memory, which is a relaxing fact. I would recommend it for sure!”

“I recently completed the tefl level 5 and i would definitely recommend this course to everyone. What an amazing experience. The course is perfectly structured and presented in a manner which is very easy to understand. As a new adventure it kept me motivated and i learnt so many new things even though i am an experienced Arabic teacher. The tests are not too easy neither too difficult. Assignments tend to get a bit challenging but that makes the course interesting and engaging. I would advise though that time should not be taken for granted. The assignments are time consuming”

“I took the level 5 course. The course went into details of topics that are relevant to being a teacher. Especially the focus on engaging, interactive learning was interesting and helpful. The format of the course is limited (as it must be in this kind of online format), yet it still has variety. Different kinds of tasks to process what we learned, different kinds of topics covered and bigger assignments. The only thing I can see missing is actual teaching practice, which is also offered by The TEFL Academy. I think I learned a lot from this course, and it was a good experience to take it.”

“After working as a teacher for years you feel you're stuck in a rut. Everything seems to be familiar and right. You feel a bit overconfident. Doing the Level 5 TEFL course you have to complete 3 written assignments related to English teaching. That is a challenge! You're assessed not by a computer but by real people. For me, that was the most difficult and exciting part of the course. I'm proud that I am good at teaching).”
