“It was such a good experience to take the level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. The course inspired me a lot with useful resources, practical ideas and challenging assignments. “This is a very well-organized, detailed course, that covers all the main areas that will be important to you as a burgeoning teaching. The units and assignments are clearly presented, and there are model assignments and plenty of tips given along the way to help you to complete the assignments. The course is quite text-heavy - and I found myself supplementing the content with a lot of youtube videos to help bring the material to life. The tutor system is good, and you never have to wait too long for an answer to your questions. The face-to-face element was mostly revision of the materials covered in the online course, but included some teaching practice and invaluable advice from an experienced TEFL teacher. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanted to become a TEFL teacher who is happy to learn mostly through reading.”

“The TEFL academy level 5 course was really educational and pleasant to do, I would have liked to see an actual tutor instead of having to submit a ticket but overall really good course I can recommend it to anyone looking to improve their English language skills and might have future plans to travel.”

“I think this course was really fun and good to do. They have got so many resources and information and ideas to use which incredible and I got inspired to use them straight away in my classes. The one I did is all online which is great because of the flexibility but if you want in class there is an option too. I did sometimes miss a mentor or actual teaching practice as in someone giving feedback though as Ive been teaching for 4 years I do rather feel confident and the feedback on the assignments is valuable as well. Would really recommend this course!”

“I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get into TEFL. The course is informative and challenging, providing students with realistic practice of producing lesson plans. There is plenty of student support if you need it qnd the course is very straightforward to navigate. It took me 6 months to complete, I probably spent a few hours a week on it as I was also working full time. Some people complete it sooner and there is the option to extend the course if you need to for a fee. The resources given to you at the end of the course to help with jobs are also very helpful. I've just applied for my first role to teach online.”

“This was a well-supported, thorough, and enjoyable course that has really given me the tools I need to become a good teacher. I enjoy this method of teaching and found the weekend course workshop to be particularly useful, and a vital experience to tie all of the learning together. Very good resources given throughout each unit, as well as at the end of the course with much support for building your career as an English teacher. Highly recommended and I hope to put my teacher training to good use.”

“I studied the level 5 course with the TEFL academy. It was comprehensive and prepared me for any situation I may come across in an English class. They prepared me for every aspect of teaching students from choosing appropriate exercises, planning proper lessons and carrying them out in an effective way. I am so glad that I chose TEFL Academy”

“i had such a good experience with my online course with TEFL academy. i completed my level 5 course in a matter of months. The student support was very helpful and quick to provide feedback. The time i had to complete it worked perfectly with my schedule, i like how flexible the course is regarding time. “I truly appreciated the experience and the opportunity to complete this course with TTA. A very structured e-learning content, which you can access whenever you wish, and a detailed outlook on teaching English as a foreign language. There is a lot of independent work to carry out but support is provided from the tutors. The feedback given on the assignments is clear and truly helpful to enhance your teaching and planning skills. The opportunities this course has opened for me are wide, and I am excited to see what is next.”
