“I undertook the Level 5 (168 hrs) TEFL course. The course is both extremely well structured and highly informative and it provides a solid platform for anyone who has no prior teaching experience, to embark on a career teaching English as a foreign language. The course is largely based on the inductive teaching methodology. The premise of the inductive teaching methodology is to put the target language (ie English) in context and to elicit answers and discussion from the student/s such that they guide themselves to the discovery of the rule/s of the language. When the rule/s, which is the subject of the lesson, is ultimately introduced and explained by the teacher, the student/s can make an obvious and clear connection between the rule and the preceding discussion. Studies have shown that this methodology is the most effective for teaching/learning a new language. The course gives one a good understanding of this methodology enabling those who complete and pass the course to become effective English teachers. I have no hesitation in recommending the course to anyone embarking on a TEFL career.”

“I can't believe I did it! I was worried that I wouldn't make it past the exams where I'm asked to do teacher work but I managed somehow because of the feedback I got that helped me get better and better. I can safely say I've been given a solid foundation on which I can start my teaching career. I wished there was an actual teaching experience included to see how I'd do included in the online course though. But other than that, the material was well oragnised, there were tons of exercises and the exams did challenge your abilities to see what you can do. Not to mention that any question I had was quickly answered. I liked this course.”

“The TEFL Academy provides a course that is both comprehensive and enjoyable. There is a feature that lets you track you progress which adds an element of enjoyment to see how you are getting on. The modules combine assessments and exams that check your understanding, whilst tasks support understanding during learning the module material. Overall I would give this course 9/10.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL-Course (168 hrs) at the TEFL-academy. I feel that the course covered all the aspects that teaching may encounter. The course is well planned and presented. I learnt some new teaching skills and revived some old ones. The training and support was excellent! Thank you for opening a few doors for me!”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) was understandable for the most part, however, when it came to assignments, it became difficult to understand everything that was required and not all instructions were 100% clear.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) with the TEFL Academy and received my certificate yesterday (super quick!). The course was super informative, great explanations and perfect practice activities. There’s loads of support material, suggested articles and useful websites that would all be beneficial when you start working. It’s been perfect practice. Despite learning at distance, I always felt really well supported and the course is excellently structures - it truly covers everything you could need! 10/10 👌🏼”

“After researching multiple TEFL courses online I decided to sign up for the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) by The TEFL Academy. The course covered everything I needed to know, tasks and activities helped to reinforce and revise what I'd studied. My assignments were marked in good time and provided some useful feedback. “I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and now feel very well prepared for teaching English based on ensuring that my own level of English is up-to- scratch. Every aspect of the English language is covered from grammar to pronunciation and it has left me equipped to handle an array of questions that students may have when studying. I found the assignments challenging but extremely beneficial and has given me a lot to think about when developing lesson plans and suitable materials. Feedback was invaluable and I will definitely take on board the suggestions for improvement. I feel invigorated, enthused and ready to take on my first teaching job.”
