“The information given in the course was very helpful and I feel set up to teach real lessons. Doing the combined course was a good option as you get to apply some of the knowledge. It was well planned and the website was easy to use.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed doing my Tefl course and all that it had to offer. I had no problems and found the website informative and easy to use. I also really liked that at the end of your course there is a cover letter and CV template aswell as a job resources. I completed my level 5 course and would highly recommend the Tefl Academy for doing yours.”

“The TEFL academy provides a comprehensive and detailed course and present the content in a variety of ways that include videos, interactive poles and questionnaires. The units are set up very well and contains great detail about English, where and how it started, how it developed, and how to teach its various parts. It also provides great top-up courses once you finish the main course to gain additional knowledge and skills in Teaching English as a Foreign language to a variety of learners in different settings for different purposes. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in becoming an ESL teacher.”

“Perfect introduction to the world of teaching English as a foreign language - after completing the Level 5 online course I feel ready to take on a classroom! The course content itself is in depth and covers everything you need to know, and the assignments help you start to put it all into practice, with really helpful feedback along the way. The actual TEFL website also has so many good resources for finding a job, applying and figuring out where/what you want to do with your qualification. Would definitely recommend for a first time teacher.”

“I've found the TEFL Level 5 course intriguing from the very beginning, all the way to the very end of unit 10. The content is very clear and entertaining enough to keep studying for hours without getting tired. The duration of the course cost me a substantial effort because of my age I think. That makes me even more proud of my acconplishment. The online support was very swift and helpful. It has definitely taken me to the level of a qualified and confident teacher. “I purchased the TEFL level 5 course and was fully happy with the content within the course. There was so much information on how to make your classes more enjoyable and how to grade your language which I thought was extremely helpful! “If you have never learned English teaching methods before, this is the place to go! With well-organized course structure, I was guided every step of the way and detailed feedback on each of my assignments helped me understand how to improve my lesson plan. I'm very confident that I will be able to give my future students well-planned, effective lessons. Highly recommended. About two weeks after the completion of the course, I recieved the certifican by mail. I really appreciate their prompt response too.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course and I was quite happy with the course overall. I think the course was very thorough, but also managed to cover a wide range of topics. I do wish they reviewed grammar a bit more since I was not taught grammar well enough in school, and I also wish they shared the correct answers for the quizzes so I could more easily learn from my mistakes. But honestly, I am a college graduate and I found the course harder than expected (in a good way!). The reading and unit tests are not that difficult, but the assignments do require quite a bit of work. However, I did pass all my assignments on the first try and received very prompt responses from tutors and admin whenever I reached out (within a couple days). The tutors were very patient with my questions and thorough in their replies, which I really appreciated. Overall, I think this is a really good course and while you will definitely have to do some outside work/studies if you want to become an expert in any of the subjects (such as grammar), I think this is a great place to start your career as an English teacher. Whether you end up using your certification or not, it's a great and rather affordable way to get a taste of what teaching English entails. Thank you!”
