“I have just completed my Level 5 TEFL (168hrs) and really enjoyed it. There are 11 units and 3 assignments. The units are focused and easy to complete and the assignments offer practical and theoretical ways to consider TEFL pedagogy. I work full time and have 2 young sons and was able to finish this course in 4 weeks so would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new or equip themselves with the opportunity to teach abroad.”

“The classroom course was very insightful, I loved the practical work offered. This assisted me a lot with my assignments as they supplemented the work given throughout. I never felt lost as the work is very detailed without being too monumental and there is no feeling of being unable to finish, perfect for casual students.”

“In the beginning I was really worried if I would have the time to finish the course in time (120 hours) given, during my university studies and work. However, when I started to work on it, I loved it and did not even notice how fast I was going through the modules. The course is really good and if you ever need help, the responses are fast. Today, I feel confident teaching English and have already benefited from the course when applying English teaching jobs.”

“Having read lots of good reviews, I chose the TEFL Academy to do my 120hrs certificate because I needed to be able to study at my own pace whilst working full-time, and having access to the course material for 6 months meant that I had ample time to get it done. I thought the online course was well-structured and really benefitted from the workbook activities as they broke up the information and allowed you to put the theory into practice. The weekend course was fun and interesting and I enjoyed being able to practice lesson planning and do a bit of teaching. I also got very detailed feedback on my assignments which was really useful.”

“What an experience. The TEFL Academy has opened my eyes to a new perspective on methods of teaching and has provided the information which I am 100% certain will benefit me in my future career in teaching. Highly enjoyable, and thorough in each aspect of the course, the 120 hour online course was exactly suited to my needs, and allowed me to study in my own space, at my own pace. My hunger for knowledge was satiated, and I have completed the course feeling armed with all of the information that I would need before endeavouring in a future of teaching. I am incredibly grateful to the TEFL Academy for providing this service, and am so glad that I found it when I did.”

“There’s no better feeling than knowing that there are huge opportunities that exist in empowering and educating a nation. Nothing comes close to that feeling of making such an impact. A course that’s really stone’s throw away from changing your life. I would highly recommend the TEFL course to individuals that plan on teaching overseas or want to teach English more specifically. The TEFL UK Academy has certainly set high standards in ensuring that students gain the best learning experience, great exposure to the theoretical underpinning of learning English and the various areas associated with teaching English. The TEFL (120 hour) course is based on the CEFR levels (Common European Framework of Reference for language levels. The TEFL course was an in-depth course with extremely insightful and interesting understanding into teaching in a diverse classroom and teaching as a foreign language. The TEFL is a great course to boosts ones current knowledge of the different aspects of teaching, classroom managements, teaching English and the rules applicable, teaching methodologies etc. Thank you TEFL for the great learning experience!”

“The six months I've spent here made me the best experience I have ever had in recent years. As a teacher, I've never thought that much till I started this course. It gave me a definite clue for preparing a lesson and different ideas about class activities. Great stuff and thanks a lot! “The TEFL Academy have a fabulous course structure and the online element is easy to navigate. Each of the 10 modules is finished off with a short test to check your understanding which helps to compound your knowledge. The 2 end of course assignments are a bit more difficult and require you to produce your own work, remember to factor in time for yourself to complete these! If you have any questions you can raise a support ticket and the team get back to you really promptly, a service which I used a couple of times during my progression of the course. The classroom element was intense and I really feel that it was great value for money and engaging.”
