“I've just completed the Online Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy. It was a good experience, good value for money, with good content. I received detailed feedback on each of the the assignments and prompt email delivery of my certificate after completing the course. I didn't experience any problems at all during studying the course and it was a problem-free experience. The online environment could have been a bit more engaging but apart from that it was a great course and I learnt useful teaching skills.”

“I find the Level 5 TEFL Academy course website very well designed and user friendly. The content is organised into 10 units, which contains text and images. Each unit is detailed, and they all have tests at the end, which is great to summarise what you have just learnt. The assignments are perfect to put the theory into practice. I would recommend taking on the webinar (10Hrs online teaching practice) for those who choose the online course. I took on the webinar just before the 3rd assignment, and I thought it was great to put everything I learnt into practice. Also, it was a fantastic opportunity to clarify any topics. I would definitely recommend the TEFL Academy.”

“It was a fun and interesting course to study, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The course is well structured and teaches you the essentials to become the best TEFL teacher you can be. The tutors are always helpful and very professional with their guidance. Overall, my experience with the TEFL Academy was great.”

“I have greatly enjoyed studying ‘Level 5 TEFL’ course. The course was designed very well and easy to understand. I found when I was in a difficult situation I was able to reach out to TEFL for support and they quickly answered their emails. Feedback from the tutors were easy to understand, both clear and concise. Overall I greatly enjoyed studying with TEFL academy.”

“I enrolled in the TFEL Level 5 course as I like to challenge myself. Being an English Home Language teacher, teaching kids who are not home language speakers present challenges every day. I thought that I would gain some insight as to how to approach certain activities. Some of my students enter high school with a limited knowledge of English and they have to pass it on home language level. I found the course very interesting and inspiring. I got some very useful tips and examples on a variety of topics. I found the course very helpful and feedback was efficient and insightful. Responses were quick and I experienced the course as motivational and positive. Criticism was positive and encouraging. I would recommend this course as it now opens new doors for me which I can explore.”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course, over 2.5 months, studying full time. I was pleasantly surprised by the rigour of the teaching, assignments, and assessment. Examiner feedback on each assignment was professional, thorough and helpful. Responses to queries I had usually came the next day. Overall, I learnt more than I expected(!) and will definitely recommend it to others. It's a serious course, resulting in a certificate to be justifiably proud of.”

“The TEFL Academy provide an informative and well laid out course. Each unit is divided up into interesting topics and the interface is kept interactive with lots of mini quizzes. The assignments allow for a lot of freedom in creativity and there is always in depth feedback given. I'd highly recommend doing a course with The TEFL Academy for anyone who wishes to gain a new skill and the opportunity to work abroad.”

“I have done TEFL Level 5. There was always someone who assisted me whenever I needed help. They were always friendly no matter what I need to know. Maybe 6 months are too short for people who studies part time. Assignments are time consuming if you want to do it properly. I enjoyed all 10 Units and learned a lot by doing TEFL. Thanks again God bless Mrs Botha”
