“A great experience. The 168 hours including the 20 hour classroom teaching practical gave me the opportunity to teach a class and gain valauble insight. The online content was easy to understand and the activities were interactive and simple enough. The assignments equipped me to better understand the work needed to prepare a lesson. I would recommend The TEFL Academy 100%.”

“I have completed my level 5 TEFL course (168 hours) at end of April 2020. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the two-day classroom course in January 2020. I am of the view that the classroom course was very helpful in that I had a good grasp of what it was all about and a better understanding of what was expected of me before I started the online course. The marking was done quickly and proper feedback was provided in the online course, albeit I was not always sure whilst doing tasks of what exactly was expected of me. I would recommend this course to others that are considering teaching English to foreign language students.”

“I took the level 5 TEFL course completely online which was great because I could do it on my own time while I was working and taking care of other responsibilities. I would have liked to have had some more interaction with the staff that was responsible for the grading of the assignments instead of just a message that I could not respond to but all in all I found the course to be a good one.”

“I'm very happy about the TEFL level 5 - 160h I successfully completed. The program and units of the course are well organized and comprehensive of many aspects of English and the teacher role. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, and several tests help understand your own comprehension of each unit. I found the essays to be enough challenging and a valid way to verify students' capacities. The feedback was always given to me quickly and with detailed information and suggestions about how to improve my work. There are no video lessons but everything is written in slides and interactive slides, or on files. This can be either a positive or negative aspect. Anyway, after completing it I can definitely recommend this course to everybody, it is a really valid preparation for the TEFL career.”

“I did the Level 5 TEFL course and was really impressed by it. The content was really good and insightful and I learned a lot of new knowledge. The whole course was well set out and the activities, tests and assignments were clearly communicated. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning from the very best of institutes.”

“I took the Level 5 168-hr Combined course, I found the course very useful for introducing new teachers to the world of TEFL and giving them the tools they will need to get started. The assignments in particular are great practice, and the feedback given very concise and constructive. I would recommend taking the combined course to gain some practical experience and tips from the instructor. After comparing TEFL Academy to other providers, I would definitely recommend it for getting a TEFL qualification!”

“The TEFL Academy was quite reasonable financially to do compared to other TEFL courses. Help was there whenever I needed it and it didn’t take very long to get responses, everything was time efficient, which I really appreciated. I am ever so grateful to the TEFL Academy. The course is definitely not easy, you really feel as though you are working hard, which you should be in order to get a decent qualification.”

“The TEFL level 5 course is a great career move if one wants to teach abroad. It's a well structured course with great tutor support every step of the way. If you have a passion for teaching I would highly recommend the course. The assignments and units is well laid out, but don't take it lightly. Study and go over your work everyday and you should be fine.”
