“The TEfL Academy was a pleasure to do. Someone recommended it to me and I've already recommended it to someone else... The course is structured really well and the website is super easy to navigate and understand. There are so many TEFL course options but I highly recommend you use this one, I can't see how it could be any better... I also enjoyed this course because of how the assignments and tests were structured. A short test at the end of each unit helped summarise everything you'd learnt and the actual assignments added a lot of value to what real life teaching would be like. Overall the tests and assignments summed up all i had learnt and reinforced the information. I'm excited to start teaching!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the level 5 , 168 hr course. Very comprehensive and interesting contents.The units covered all the appropriate materials and I feel I really developed many skills and gained insight.The assignments were very challenging but all instructions were very clear.The course was easy to navigate through. I would definitely recommend this course to all who would like to teach English abroad.”

“The course was interesting and well structured. I enjoyed the variety of tasks. It is very general and I am now doing my own study to teach online. I would have liked more on Total Physical Response as this seems to be very desirable in the American online schools. I really enjoyed the 2 day face-to-face part of the course.”

“I am very satisfied with the course. It is very interesting and useful for everyone who wants to teach English, learn about new engaging methods to teach grammar, reading, listening, and writing, and really inspire the students to study harder. It is very well-thought and comprehensive with interesting practical assignments, which might be helpful for further teaching activities. I sincerely recommend it both for the beginners, who just start their teaching career and those who want to learn something new and improve their teaching skills. An excellent course, I am so happy I went with the TEFL Academy and got this valuable experience.”

“I studied the Level 5 course and it was an explosion of greatness as I was given a whole different view of what teaching is. I decided to take the course since I had started teaching ESL. This was the best decision I’ve ever made, the course unpacked teaching English as a foreign language in a really fun and engaging way. Tutors were always readily available to assist and offer prompt and detailed feedback on assignments. The activities and test after each unit completion allowed for the retention of knowledge. The course itself is structured is a way that builds up from each unit. You are never left thinking “ ooh! This part should have probably gone first” . This is the one thing that made the course really fun and enjoyable”

“The level 5 TEFL course was amazing! The entire experience challenged me and opened my mind to so many things I had not known before. The course was organized in a way where I could manage it well from home yet still feel engaged and motivated as if it were face-to-face. The feedback from tutors were highly appreciated. The tutors took their time out to write clear and concise instructions and critique. Overall, I will say my experience was highly satisfactory.”

“I feel this is a great course that covers such a wide range of important information surrounding teaching English as a Foreign language. The tasks and tests are great and the density of the units is fantastic for setting you up in teaching. I think it’s a brilliant course that offers such valuable information for this sector. “I think the TEFL academy is the next best thing to getting real life teaching experience when it comes to preparing you for the classroom. I already had a linguistics degree but wanted to complete a TEFL Certificate to refresh my knowledge. What I really appreciated was learning how to lesson plan as this was something I’d never had exposure to before but will be so helpful when I start teaching in Japan this September.”

“The TEFL Academy offer a comprehensive course that covers both the technical and practical parts of English Language Teaching. The online material is easily digestible with a user face that is easy to understand and navigate. The course structure ensures you learn and understand each level of content and I was able to get through the course completely independently at my own pace. The lessons were informative and covered a wide range of relevant topics, which are all valuable within the classroom environment. “I have recently completed the Combined Level 5 TEFL Course with 20-hour Classroom Teaching Practice. I did the teaching practice part early and found that it helped prepare me for the rest of the course. The course itself was comprehensive and complete. The assignments are challenging but worth the effort. The feedback for the assignments was very good and helpful. It is important to be totally dedicated and not underestimate the time needed to complete the course. I would highly recommend it.”

“The TEFL academy provided a great course that exceeded expectations. It was well structured and provided good immediate feedback from in unit quizzes to check knowledge. The face to face component was very useful and the instructor gave some very practical classroom tips and tricks. I’m looking forward to using my qualification now and would suggest anyone thinking about doing it to sign up!”
