“I have chosen to do the 120-hour TEFL online course as I was travelling at the time when I started it. It was easy to register and to use it. It covers all topics which are important for teaching. The amount of support was ideal and the assignments at the end of the course were marked within the right amount of time. Furthermore the course offers a lot of resources reagrding teaching, teaching material and the job search at the end of it. In conclusion I only can recommend the course.”

“I loved the lessons, I like English for starters so that helped, but having said that I had forgotten a lot of English grammar theory which we just take for granted when we speak it every day. I loved the layout of the lessons and I learnt quite a lot. Having done a journalism course years ago, I knew a lot of the grammar but in fact I really had forgotten how to explain it to anyone else. It is a bit like turning a key in a lock, we do it all the time, but if asked whether or not we should turn the key right or left, we probably could not tell someone else. I enjoyed the assignments, they made me think and as I prefer to do my own lesson rather than "feed" of someone else's they got me really thinking. Basically, I would recommend the course to others. I truely enjoyed it.”

“The TEFL Academy has made me satisfied of receiving aproved cerificate allowing teaching english as a foreign language. Course has been enjoyable, interesting and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone !”

“Essentially, great support and excellent service during the every stage of the process. Also, regarding the material and course content, valuable and useful resources. Besides, The TEFL Academy is accredited by the WTEFLAC -World TEFL Accrediting Commission and recognized by the TQUK - Training Qualifications UK, Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation. “I decided to do my Training with The Tefl Academy as they offered the classroom part of the course in Oxford where I work. I found the online part of the course easy to access and enjoyed working through the modules using the workbooks and completing the end of module tests. The assignments were good practice for future teaching and lesson planning. I am looking forward to apply for jobs and starting my teaching career.”

“I have been looking for teaching jobs abroad, and i noticed immediatly that most required a TEFL/ CELTA 120 hour certificate. I did my research and The Tefl Academy came out on top. They are the most cost effective online course and offer very knowledgeable instructors . The course work was interesting and I have learnt alot. Thank you.”

“Completing this useful and interesting online course has been an enjoyable experience. The focus of every module is clear and the support given is excellent. Some of the modules are more challenging than others but expectations are high throughout. Being able to work at my own pace has given me the chance to put maximum effort into the final assessment and the two written assignments. The face to face course I attended was very worthwhile and useful to underpin the online course. I was also able to exchange thoughts and ideas with fellow students and of course get advice from the tutor.”

“As a study-a-holic I initially signed up for the course out of interest. To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much, but, I LOVED IT! I have done MANY courses and this course was very well laid out, logical and easy to follow. Even the dreaded Grammar unit was well planned out (even if we did all hate it!!). It made a difficult subject, bearable! I really liked being tested after each unit and getting instant results. It was a great way of measuring your progress and getting a pat on the back along the way! The assignments were good for testing different skills learnt on the course. I feel proud that I have passed with flying colours and cannot wait to get stuck into my first adventure, wherever that may be. Thank you TEFL Academy. Keep up the good work. You changed my initial opinion and probably changed my life too!!”

“The TEFL Academy were nothing but supportive and encouraging all through the course - I couldn't have wished for a better outcome. The tutor for the weekend of practical study was engaging and interesting; the lesson practice was incredibly helpful, and to top it off I am still in contact with the friends I made during the weekend! The administrative staff were always happy to help with any issues or queries, and when I phoned to clarify a question regarding my final grade, I was congratulated happily by the lovely woman I spoke to! All in all, I don't feel I could have picked a better company to complete this qualification with, and would recommend them completely to anyone considering the TEFL path!”

“It suited me because it was online which meant I could fit it around work easily. I liked the was it was so organised and broken up into 10 manageable modules and then end of unit tests. I felt it covered ever aspect of teaching in detail. I found communication with the course tutors to be a really positive experience; receiving prompt replies with just the help I needed. There was obviously no contact with students as this was an online course which was fine for me as I am a teacher but others may want that experience.”

“From the beginning of the weekend course, which was an 'Icebreaker' were given extremely good guidance by our tutor. This meant that the course participants, who had (mostly) been strangers up to that time, 'came together' and began to learn as a unit, as well as individually. The whole weekend became not a chore but an enjoyable experience. Having had an enjoyable weekend it set the scene for the course itself.”

“The feedback given by the tutors was fantastic! In addition, the support outside of the course made me enjoy working my way through the modules. The relaxed learning pace that was in place to work through the modules allowed me to work and have a social life, without being pressured to rush through the work. Overall I am delighted with TEFL academy and would highly recommend anyone to sign up!”

“The in class lessons were very intense but our teacher is Mr Nick made it so exciting we all flew through the time... Assignment 1 & 2 were tuff...! But once to go through them and manage to pass, take my words, you life would be easy when you will face students in real life... By the way, I passed with 85% and 85%, which gave me a distinction (just marketing myself haha) ... The officials play great and efficient role behind the scene making sure your enquiries are dealt with care and efficiency... Thanks TEFL Academy and the team...”
