“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy, and it was such a rewarding experience! The course is well-structured and packed with useful information, covering everything from lesson planning to classroom management. I really appreciated how practical it felt—I learned techniques I could immediately imagine using in a real classroom. The flexibility was a huge plus for me since I could study online at my own pace, which made it manageable alongside my other commitments. The assignments were challenging but in a good way, and the tutors were always supportive. Their feedback was detailed and super helpful in improving my work. What I also loved was the extra support they offer, like advice on finding teaching jobs and access to a job board. It made me feel confident about my next steps after completing the course. The only thing I’d mention is that it’s quite intensive, so you do need to stay organized to keep up. But overall, I’m so glad I chose The TEFL Academy—it’s a great option if you’re serious about teaching English!”

“Combined Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language 168 Hrs. I recently completed my course with TEFL Academy and I do feel more prepared to embark on a teaching journey. I did some research before choosing this course and I am satisfied with the quality of content, customer service and value for money. I have gained a deeper understanding of the English Language, a recognised TEFL qualification for my travels to China, and even something as simple as skill in perseverance. The assignments are sufficiently challenging and the format of the lessons kept me engaged.”

“I am so happy that I chose The TEFL Academy for my TEFL certificate. The help I received from the tutors as well as after hour asstistance was incredible. The course material was organized, insightful and provided me with all of the necessary information regarding online teaching. “The Level 5 Combined TEFL course overall was very interesting and informatived. I content was well designed and easy to nagivate though the units. The language was graded, where sometimes I did not need to ask for tutors support. The tutors responded very quickly to any questions. The content was both theoretical and practically. This created a fun learning experience. The content for the course catered for all types of learners i.e., visual, reading and writing, auditory and kinesthesis. Because I did the combined course, I undergone a classroom teaching practice, which was interesting and engaging. The teacher taught us a lot of tips on teaching English as a foreign language for different types groups i.e., young, teenagers and adults. Overall the course improved my grammar and vocabulary skills, improved my critical thinking skills and it taught me that time management is very important.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my TEFL level 3 course with the TEFL Academy and can highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to enter the world of EFL teaching. It’s not just for young people wanting to travel the world, but also for us middle-aged people embarking on a midlife career change. Some of the features of the course which spoke to my situation and needs were: • You can study at your own pace • The Interactive activities are a fun way to explore the skills that are taught and test your knowledge without it feeling like you need to swot for an exam • You can also go back and review past units, or sections of units, even once you have completed these • The course materials remain available for one year and thus once you have completed the course and have started your journey as an EFL teacher you can still access the materials to review and assist you while you are new to the profession • The assignments are real-world tests of what you will be required to produce as an EFL teacher and assist you with coming to grips with the core skills required as an EFL teacher • The feedback on the assignments is also comprehensive and constructive • The Academy also offers top-up courses for further specialisation, some of these are offered for free along with your registration to one of the main certificate and diploma courses. “I registered for a Level 3 certiifcate in May 2024. The TEFL Academy course was someting I looked forward to each day. The website is super easy to use and the course is logcial and well structured. I loved the variuos different activities I had to do, like videos, short quizzes, even the tests! I think it was very good to do an assignment, and the feedback was prompt and very detailed. I am glad that a person marked it and not a robot! Thank you, I felt valued that you took the time to look at every step of the lesson plan. While I was finishing the couse, I started working for Native Camp which was really scary in the beginning. It was so unlike the traditional classroom where you have a detailed lesson plan. I am an older teacher and married with kids so the only ESL at the moment would be online. While I loved the TEFL academy curriculum, I felt it was quite different from Native Camp. I would love to travel and go to foreign countries where I could follow my own lesson plans but this is not so for some online companies. Is there any way you guys could factor that into your instruction methods?”
