“An amazing range of products and very happy with my BMI tape measure trio. My only problem was the slow delivery - products were marked as in stock, I paid for 1st class delivery and expected a dispatch notice. I received no further communication and my items arrived nearly 2 weeks after the order.”

Dear Mr Edwards, Please forgive the error with your order. As per our phone call we have just moved to our new offices. When we normally process an order our system gives an exact stock location for the item and then we scan the barcode of the product to avoid any errors in picking. Unfortunately in the few days following our move this system was not up and running properly and to avoid delays we reverted back manually selecting the items. In the case of your order this was not done correctly and we apologise that the glass fibre version of the tape was sent out instead of the steel model. We have now sent out the correct models as promised and included a free Komelon tape as a gesture of goodwill. All our systems are now up and running and with our new warehouse we hope to avoid any such errors in the future. Once again please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Hi Mr Adair, Thank you for your review and sorry for the delay in coming back to you. We have looked into your comments and indeed the images provided by the manufacturer for the tool you ordered do show magnets on the side. The BMI part number that you ordered however does not however have magnets but we agree that the images do not give this impression. We have amended the images on our site so they accurately reflect the difference between the two models and as will send out today the more expensive magnetic version so you can make use of this feature. As a gesture of goodwill you can also keep the non-magnetic version which was originally shipped. We hope this is OK and if you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact us on 0151 7241347. “No problem ordering item. Courier service from UPS poor, left a card with a number scribbled on it that I couldn't read and no other information filled in. Checked with both neighbours and they haven't got the item. UPS did not return Friday so I think that I will be chasing around the houses to find out where it is. Pop”

“I had lost a special tape measure which showed the internal measure in a clear window on top. I looked many places for it and then found the Tape Store. Not only did it have one just like mine it had one better: a unique internal/external tape measure that also has a digital readout, centre point calculator etc etc. I got the latter. I must say it did take a while to arrive so it would be good to get a message such as "we're waiting for your order to come in." But other than that, great. Need a tape measure? Look here first!”

“Product was faulty. They had sent UPS to pick it up and send me a replacement! Never materialised so had to instigate a complaint with PayPal to retrieve money! Eventually got a full refund! Poor customer service!”

“on your web site it was clear that if order was placed early in the day next day delivery would be fulfilled. I anticipated this and waited in all day and in fact missed a social occasion in case the delivery came. It did not but arrived the following morning around 10 am (Saturday). Fortunately my wife was in to accept. I was not happy in the circumstances as you can imagine. you must not make promises that cannot be fullfilled”
