“Extremely happy with our purchase from the Stone & Garden company. Jacqui was a pleasure to deal with and resolved my delivery query very efficiently and our refund was paid promptly even though it was a bank holiday weekend! We will definitely order again. Thank you.”

“Good price compared to many well known brands. Good choice of delivery options. Only disappointed for me was there was a fait amount of sand within the gravel I had ordered which spoilt the look of the stones. Also never got a 2 hour time slot on the day, so had no idea when the item was arriving that day.”

“Would not order or recommend to anybody. When delivered to my house the driver left it in the middle if the path because he hadn't got the right equipment to move it. A pram or wheelchair would have had to go in the road which is not ideal. The lady I spoke to said it was kerb side drop off which I understand but not to block a pavement”

“Excellent customer service! Item as described. My message on order was picked up straight away and acknowledged. Fantastic communication right up to delivery. Delivery driver very friendly. So good we ended getting another order 2 weeks later. Highly recommend.”

“The only thing stopping this being a five-star review was that my two packs got separated during the delivery process and the bag of bigger stones arrived two days after the smaller ones which meant that I couldn't really start building my pond until a couple of days after I expected to. The delay was dealt with well once I advised the company but IO could have done without it in the first place.”

“Great communication. The quality is good. Only issue I had was Palletway had a local agent H&M doing the final delivery and communication from them was not as good as the driver missed his delivery window by an hour. This could have been had I received a call out. Also no phone call from driver as Stone & Garden had stated. Hopefully Stone & Garden can reiterate to Palletway that delivery windows are important.”

Hi Dave, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and not letting the Palletways issue affect your overall score. We appreciate all types of feedback so I will definitely pass on your comments to Hastings Freight (who we outsource to who then uses the Palletways network) so they can feedback to the delivery depot. I know that the ETA you're given is based off the drivers location so if earlier stops have taken longer, the driver has run into traffic etc this can shift the ETA but like you said a call to give you a heads up would have been ideal. Hope this doesn't stop you from ordering from us in the future! Jacqui
