“I ordered 10 bulk bags of 100-200mm cobbles. The first order of 7 bags were all clean and washed as described. The second order I placed of 3 bags were filthy dirty. I literally had to scrub them all to get them clean. They were caked in mud and the bottom of the bull bag was 3 inches deep in mud.”

Thank you for the 4-star review Nick, apologies you weren't 100% happy with your order. All products are naturally quarried and we don't have any washing facilities on site so some bags can arrive with quarry product on them, I've passed on the feedback through to the Quality Control Department for you though.

“Bulk bag of state chippings. Good price but had to sort by hand as there so much dust and muck in the bag. Delivered a day early which could of been a problem.”

“Can't fault the ordering process, the website is very easy to use and the images give you a rough idea how the stones and how they'll look in a location. The measurements tool was a game changer for me, I totally underestimated how much I'd need but the calculatior on the site was spot on. The stones themselves are good quality and covered my crappy old drive perfect and look amazing. Only moan is that the stones could only be dropped on the kird and not on my drive, I ordered 6 tons, so it was a massive task shovelling them a meter or 2. Apart from that I'd definitely use this company again”

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review, I'm glad you were happy with the Polar White you ordered (I can see you've also left a product review, the photos look great!). We always say it's best to use the measurement checker so that it can guide you on how many bags you'd need as a minimum (so you don't over-order and end up with lots of excess gravel!) I'm sorry the driver not being able to leave the bulk bags on your drive has impacted the overall score you've left for us, as we outsource the deliveries it's at the driver's discretion to leave the pallets anywhere other than kerbside due to H&S (as this is what we're insured for, not to come onto your property) I do understand it'd be frustrating to wheelbarrow/handball them from the kerbside. “Stones are good quality and have compacted well but we ordered black basalt and got a medium grey colour”

“Good website. Fast efficient service, but the 2x850 keg bags of Alpine Black gravel were so badly covered in dust, you’d have thought it was light brown. They advise it may still be dusty, but with a thick covering of it, would mean you don’t get as much gravel as you would with a normal slightly dusty covering, as it must add to the weight. We’re very pleased with the end result, but we used an awful lot of water hosing it off.”

“Excellent product and price, which included delivery. Only issue was that when the delivery people collected the product from the company they delivered immediately, which wasn't on the date agreed. Thankfully I was in and no real problem but it could have been an issue.”
