About The Saw Centre:

Industrial wholesale and supply for businesses, tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts. We operate an impressive state of the art CNC factory which allows us to sharpen saw blades, regrind tools and manufacture solid carbide tools with the highest quality and efficiency possible.

Our skilled staff can also weld bandsaw blades to any size. UK wide sales and distribution including our own fleet of vans which currently service businesses in Scotland. Our Glasgow based shop is an Authorised Stihl Dealer and Repair Centre. We also stock a wide range of power tools, accessories and consumables from many well known manufacturers, we also have larger industrial machinery on display such as bandsaws, edge banders, spindle moulders, panel saws and so much more.

“Outstanding service!!! The order was collected on Wednesday and I had my blades back on Monday, nicely sharpened and they cut better than new. If you are looking for a professional and reliable company, then The Saw Centre is number one. Highly recommended!!!”

“Item that I was looking for was not on your website. However, a quick call with Andrew (Gibson?) resulted in the item being added so that I could order it online. Andrew left a voicemail two days later to advise that the item was available for collection. Excellent customer service.”

“I sent four blades to the saw centre and the day after I received them back well packaged coated in machine oil to stop surface rust and wax coated on the teeth. It’s like having new blades back again but probably better than new as I suspect there has been more attention to detail with the geometry and surface finish. I’m really impressed and will definitely use again.”

“From the first email to the Saw Centre for advice their reply was both prompt and helpful. Their shipping cost was very competitive and fast despite me living in the Isle of Man. My delivery would have been next day but my blades didn't arrived at The Saw Centre on a Friday. Their competitive cost to re-sharpen blades make it very affordable to buy top quality premium blades that can normally be re-sharpened a few times. I got all of my own blades returned to me which hasn't always happened with some other companies I've used. They were even able to re-sharpen a Festool blade with an odd tooth pattern to an as new condition. I have retired now so only use my workshop for pleasure but I will definitely use this company again in the future. I am confident enough to highly recommend The Saw Centre to anyone that wants a professional service with a very prompt turnaround.”

Festool blades, especially the newer blades with updated tooth geometry, can be difficult to sharpen with the correct tools, fortunately our state-of-the-art cnc factory is programmed to make these blades like new. “The online service was good. No issues through the process. 1 star dropped for delivery. By before 12 get delivery next day. Waited all day sat and nothing. Checked who courier were and found it to be parcel force...who stop work at 1 on sat and no Sunday delivery. So arrived by 11 on Monday. Otherwise all went well.”

Hi Eoin, delivery times are for working days only so the courier delivered on the next available working day which in this case was a Monday. We can understand your frustration; in the age of Amazon deliveries being so instantly available but it's simply not possible for smaller companies to compete whilst also giving you free delivery on your order. Being based in Glasgow yourself you would have been able to collect this item if you preferred. We still appreciate your feedback, thank you for taking the time to write it for us!

“Where to start?! As a business we have been looking for someone that sharpens machinery blades for a while. Our Felder blades are upwards of £100.00 each and we simply can’t just keep buying a new blade every time it’s blunt. So we searched the internet and found The Saw Centre - all the way in Scotland (we are North Wales). After a phone call to them to answer our queries, we decided to go ahead. Let me tell you this now, we were not disappointed. We booked the saw sharpening on their website (so easy to follow - just select your size) on the Monday morning. We packaged them up and sent them 1st class recorded delivery. The Saw Centre received them on the Tuesday and by the afternoon of the very same day we got notified by DHL that they had our package. For a moment we thought it was spam and then realised actually it’s our blades on their way back. We couldn’t actually believe it. We received our blades on the Wednesday and they were back to work that afternoon. They are cutting like brand new (if not better). We would highly recommend The Saw Centre and it looks like they have just got themselves a long term client too. We have so many blades that need sharpening (they will be fed up of us sending them blades before long haha). All jokes aside, what an impressive service. It has to be 5 stars, anything less would be insulting. We were totally blown away by the entire service.”

“I had a festool track saw blade that had teeth missing and was well worn. Good price and got it back in the post well packaged and sharper than new two days later. Can’t thank The Saw Centre enough!”
