“This bed is very well made, in my opinion the best on the market, modern but still with nice original style detail. Odering and delivery all went well. The slats were too long, easier to cut than wait for replacements hence only four stars.”

“Love that these are all natural, so no nasty chemicals, and reasonably priced. I ordered the juno wool in medium, unfortunately I found it too firm for my needs, I suffer with fybromyalgia (maybe this would have given a bit over time?) but with the free nights trial I was able to return, which was hassel free and refund sorted quickly. I would have loved a "soft" option to try”

“It’s all efficient and well run. The bed arrives extremely well protected and is beautiful . I had an issue putting together that the double headed screw for a brass knob would not thread but I had been without a bed for a week and was desperate and it took me two hours to carefully thread and unthread til I got it in just enough to work”

“I would have given 5 as the bed frame and mattress are really good....but the delivery let it down, the packaging was filthy and left lots of dirty marks on my walls carpets and up the stairs and all over us too when unpacking.....”

“Ordering: Very easy. Online. Communication : Terse. Either was here. Or wasn't. Which was/is fair enough I suppose. Product: Looks beautiful. Quality. Sturdy. Very impressed. Packaging: Sorry to be retentive about this but never encountered as well thought out protective solution to a product. Incredible. Delivery: Did pay extra for chosen room delivery but the sheer weight meant that it had to be separated into parts and took upstairs...which was done very adeptly...by myself...as advised by delivery team who shot off after imparting this piece of logistical advice. 🤷‍♂️”

“Whilst the bed and mattress themselves are great and as ordered, the customer service was appalling. I phoned to asked when my order was likely to be delivered, as I had already waited 8 weeks, wondering why they had not emailed me ANY updates. I was told that some customers don’t like to be contacted by email!! Why take contact details then?? The man on the phone took some time to find my order. This suggests a level of inefficiency which is stunning. The bed was fairly easy to construct, but we did have some difficulties .”

“After being a bit sceptical due to not seeing the bed in person, not knowing the company and wondering why the price was so low on comparison to some competitors, I bit the bullet and ordered this bed. Needless to say we are super happy with the bed, the style is lovely and it was not hard to put together. The only reason I have subtracted one star is because it creaks quite a bit and it started shortly after getting it and assembling it. All in all comfy bed, quick delivery and good service we are really happy with it”

“Easy to talk to although during the process but quite a wait for bed to be delivered. As mention before, the young delivery men could have been more helpful, seeing how old my wife and I are, they should have offered to help us carry the items onto the landing, instead they were left in th ground floor hallway. Being from the generation that did not give in, we struggled but managed.”

“Our bed arrived well-packed and in good condition with nothing missing. Assembly was straightforward and the bed is very solid and well made, the only slight issue being the wooden slats which were rough and splintery in places and needed to be sanded down. We are very pleased with the bed which is ideal for our memory foam mattress and would certainly order from this company again.”

“The bed itself is exactly as we thought and assembly, whilst a lengthy process, was accomplished with only one error. The rods holding the knobs on have to be inserted from the bottom at an earlier stage in the assembly process - so one of us had to lift the bed while the other inserted the rod from beneath. There is one spare rod - but as the bed hasn't collapsed after a month, we will assume it's not required. The delivery, however, was very disappointing. Despite being a bed and the individual boxes quite heavy, the delivery people refused to carry them upstairs and left them in the hall. We should have paid extra, apparently, if we required our new bed to be delivered upstairs. Not many people have downstairs bedrooms unless they live in a bungalow so we would have thought the pricing included delivery to the room required (a bedroom).”

“Great service, bed arrived swiftly and looks super, exactly as I had hoped. The mattress is very comfortable too. I am deducting one star for the assembly instructions in respect to the optional drawers which are at the end of the instructions and require the bed to be semi dismantled in order to retrofit the drawers. Other than that, I love my new bed.”

“We bought a bed from The Original Bed Company nearly twenty years ago. It is still giving us a good night's sleep every night. When we needed to replace our spare bed it was obvious where we should go. The new bed arrived promptly, was easy to assemble and looks elegant in our spare bedroom. We hope it'll give our guests as many good night's sleep as our original one.”

“My bed is absolutely wonderful and I am completely delighted with it. I paid extra so my bed could be delivered to my bedroom and I could assemble and sleep in it, having just moved in to my new home. However, the couriers who delivered the bed refused to take it up (they didn't even try, or look at my stairs, they left in a hurry saying it was "not company policy"). I then had to sleep on the floor for over a week before the Original Bed Company could send someone to help me and assemble it. I was charged extra for this service. So, if ordering a bed from this company, make sure you get a guarantee that your bed is delivered where you want it. The bed itself is fine, but the company weren't terribly sympathetic to my plight, charged me extra for my inconvenience and made me wait a week/10 days before sending someone to help me( he was very good).”

“Arrived on time, beautifully packaged and everything as it should be. Not quite the 'wow' factor I was hoping for, but a lovely stable bed that is comfortable, good quality and will certainly last me out!”
