“The Bed and packaging arrived very dirty. We had to clean it before we put it together. When we told the OBC, they just apologised but no compensation offered. Disappointed.”

“I love my new black cast iron double bed. It’s sturdy and has a lovely understated style. It was also very easy to assemble. Shipping to North of Ireland was expensive - one of the many problems caused by brexit. I would recommend both the company and the product.”

“I would highly recommend this company. I purchased a king size bedframe from the OBC in 2007, todate it is still in very good condition and used daily. Therefore, I had no hestiation in ordering a second kingsize bed for the guest room. Excellent quality. I would like to add the gentleman who assembled our new bed was very professional, clearing all boxes and taking packaging away with him.”

“It took me ages to find the bed I wanted but I am so happy with the bed I chose from you. Excellent quality, the only downside are the drawers. I thought that they would be metal & full length of the bed on both sides, it just means a bit less storage space than I was expecting. I do still love my new bed though! Thank you”

“Great service from ordering to delivery, wonderful cast iron bed...the Hamilton Solo Low Footend. The mattress needed to be exchanged but was done within a week. Communication and advice by phone and email was excellent. Highly recommend.”

“We did have to wait the full 10 to 12 weeks for Deliery but Wow was it worth it the Mattress is the most combfortable we have ever had and the Bedframe is so attractive painted in the Farrow and Ball Green Blue colour. We are so pleased we chose to buy from the Original Bed Company as the service from start to finish was excellent.”

“Whilst the bed and mattress themselves are great and as ordered, the customer service was appalling. I phoned to asked when my order was likely to be delivered, as I had already waited 8 weeks, wondering why they had not emailed me ANY updates. I was told that some customers don’t like to be contacted by email!! Why take contact details then?? The man on the phone took some time to find my order. This suggests a level of inefficiency which is stunning. The bed was fairly easy to construct, but we did have some difficulties .”

“Had a great experience with The Original Bed Company. Amazing quality mattress and bed, this is my second bed and mattress from them now and I am over the moon with them! The delivery was on time as stated and the drivers were helpful getting everything inside. The bed is amazing as you can choose different heights, mine is on the lowest and I still manage to fit all of my stuff underneath no problem! Would most definitely recommend this company, my mum is even thinking of buying from them too now!”

“I had been looking for an iron bed for sometime, and everything I looked at locally here in Australia was either not made well or way too expensive. I came across TOBC and was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. Not only that, they were willing to customise the height to my requirements, as I wanted a high bed where my feet did not touch the ground. Via email and a phone call, all was sorted and paid for. About 12 - 13 weeks later my bed arrived. Finally found the time to get it setup and could not be happier with my purchase. I would recommend anyone looking for an iron bed, not to go past TOBC as their service and quality cannot be faulted. I expect that this bed will see me out for the next 20 years, and given the price including shipping to Australia, I consider that I got a bargain. Would definitely order again, if I had the need for another bed!”
