“The colour choice is a good match and the instructions easy to follow. The mattress is huge but so so comfy & the bed is a centrepiece to the master bedroom in our new home. We ordered well before our new home was ready to move into and the delivery timing worked out perfectly!”

“It was extremely well packaged. We put it together very easily. I paid extra to have 2 men take it upstairs for me as I had no idea how heavy it would be for one of them to run upstairs with it lol. The slats were layered and compressed so very supportive. Once together and the bed made up it looked very beautiful. My husband had been experiencing pain in his hips that went away within 2 days of sleeping on this bed. Its gorgeous and soo comfortable.”

“The beds seem great once they are constructed, however, the construction is a bit of a marathon. The construction instructions are very poor. Many of the bolts come already screwed into their destination and there's a high degree of deconstruction before actual construction can begin. The brackets also come tightly inserted into their destination port and it isn't initially clear they need removing. They are also very tight and a struggle to remove. The metal spigots that need inserting into the frame are critically tight and it's very difficult to align the bolt threads. Crossing the threads as the bolts are screwed is a real risk. It's also incredibly easy to construct the brackets and spigots incorrectly, leading to frustrating re-construction. The small rubber pads used to pad the metal slats don't really function well. In summary, good looking beds that seem sturdy once constructed but the construction isn't simple. If you've got limited DIY skills you might struggle.”

“We cannot recommend The Original Bed Company enough. The bed is amazing, so comfy, so well made and sturdy. We have never seen anything so well packaged with such care. Instructions spot on it and it went together perfectly. Choice of two heights was perfect for us we had looked everywhere for a higher bed. Over the moon with our new bed. I cannot stop looking at it! Thank you!”

“Love our new Super King Solomon bed. Really well made solid bedframe - great value considering quality - speedy delivery too and well packaged. Found the whole process from ringing with initial enquiry to placing order and then receiving item and constructing it following instructions all very straightforward. Wish I’d bought sooner - far superior to our old bedframe. Would 100% buy from this company again and highly recommend!”

“I am absolutely delighted with my new Ashley bed frame, it looks fantastic and was easy to assemble with minimum amount of fuss! The frame is very high quality and I will definately buy from this company again, its so refreshing when you get something really well made and at such a good price.”

“I would have given 5 as the bed frame and mattress are really good....but the delivery let it down, the packaging was filthy and left lots of dirty marks on my walls carpets and up the stairs and all over us too when unpacking.....”

“We ordered a Hamilton low foot bed and adore it. The build quality is excellent and it's obvious that they take pride in their product. To make things more complex we live in New Zealand and they were helpful in arranging freight to us, across the world, in under a week. The level of careful packaging for such a long distance transit was exceptional. Highly recommend.”

“Ordering: Very easy. Online. Communication : Terse. Either was here. Or wasn't. Which was/is fair enough I suppose. Product: Looks beautiful. Quality. Sturdy. Very impressed. Packaging: Sorry to be retentive about this but never encountered as well thought out protective solution to a product. Incredible. Delivery: Did pay extra for chosen room delivery but the sheer weight meant that it had to be separated into parts and took upstairs...which was done very adeptly...by myself...as advised by delivery team who shot off after imparting this piece of logistical advice. 🤷‍♂️”
