“Great product and easy to assemble”

“A lovely bed - this is one of the cheaper models as it’s for a guest room, but it’s still built beautifully and was simple to assemble (I did it myself in under an hour)! Really good that it has proper wooden slats and a good height to it too. Would definitely recommend.”

“Everything you cpuld ever want. Direct help from the factory to check on colours, they sent emails with photos of stock so I could really see. Bed delivered on time, delivery guys were spot on and took parts upstairs. Bed very solid, easy to assemble though. Quality and standard excellent. Ours was Hamilton Solo, low end in pewter, see photo.”

“A really good company, ordered a king size Hamilton bed and Juno cotton mattress. After having had the bed delivered, I decided to have a super king size instead. No problem, I paid the difference and they arranged for a new bed to be delivered and they would dismantle the old bed and assemble the new. Both beds were high quality and looked very good.”

“Delighted with our Olivia bedstead. It arrived in two very well packaged parcels. The step by step instructions were clear and easy to follow and we had no problems with construction. (At one point we did use a small bin to rest part of bed on to make joining easier). The fit is perfect and we love the new look created in the spare bedroom.”

“Great company to deal with from the lady who posted metal colour samples out to me to the man who took my telephone order and organized delivery for my day of choice. I’m really please with my new Edwardian style bedstead in Ivory too which is of of a very good quality and arrived expertly packaged by two helpful and friendly delivery men. Overall I would recommend OBC to anybody looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.”

“The bed is excellent. That has the 5 stars. Three issues: the delivery company left it at the bottom of the flight of stairs with the bedroom at the top. 2 stars for customer service. It was not that straightforward to put together. We got it in the end but it took nearly 2 hours.3 stars. Lastly- the packing has so much plastic and polystyrene. Horrible and a shame for any ethical company. Please consider this and use recyclable packaging . 0 stars for that. Bed great though!”

“I love my beautiful new bed.! I have waited a long time to have an iron bedframe like this, and I'm glad I chose the Original Bedstead Company. The quality is incomparable to others we looked at. It looks stunning in our bedroom. A real centrepiece.”

“Love the bed - minimal and contemporary in style but very solid and comfortable. As it was in stock it was delivered very quickly and they use a delivery service who have good communication which made everything even smoother.”

“I ordered a bed And mattress 9 weeks ago. Other than the email saying they had my order I have had no notification from the company with any expected dates, etc. I phones two weeks ago to see when to expect delivery and was told it was down as the week of the 25th of November. As I yet again have had no contact from the company I have spent the whole morning trying to contact anyone at any of the phone numbers online and they all just ring out. No please wait, no please leave a message. I just want to know when the Bed is due to arrive. Why can I not contact you?”

“Sturdy, functional bed. You get what you pay for - the quality and finish reflect the low price - but hey, you’re going to have your eyes closed most of the time, or be focussing on more important things (and it doesn’t squeak).”

“We received excellent service from the Manager at the Chelsea shop and ordered our bed on the spot. The bed is of excellent quality and was easy to build . Love it!!!”

“Very pleased with our new bed. Gorgeous bed and relatively easy to assemble although it is definitely a two person job. Sales staff were helpful and our bed was delivered within a few days. Detailed instructions on how to assemble . Went wrong a couple of times so I would say instructions could have been slightly clearer. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“What a find! Having shopped around this was by far the most reasonably priced yet the quality was far better than others considered from big names. Build quality is excellent and the frame very heavy and not cheap. Little details make it look great. Would definitely recommend....you won’t be disappointed.”
