“I bought the king size Solomon bed frame and am absolutely over the moon with it! Excellent service, amazing quality bed and superb value for money. I would highly recommend.”

“Bed gets a five and was quickly dispatched but Delivery company poor. It’s a six foot mattress and they didn’t want to take it upstairs as it was “ too heavy.” Other companies deliver to your bed. They did eventually take it to the door of my bedroom.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We’re sorry and unfortunate to hear about your less satisfactory experience with the delivery for the 6ft mattress (not a rolled mattress). We normally dispatch all our order deliveries with two delivery companies according to our customers’ requirements and bookings. And one of the delivery companies – the two-man delivery service should normally take the orders to the upstairs/bedrooms if requested and there is no space restriction in the house. “We are very pleased with this bed , (once we assembled) it looks brilliant in our room . The mattress is Soo comfortable. The delivery Men were on time , and carried all the delivery into the bedroom for me .”

“I waited three months for our bed to arrive, thanks to Covid and it being hand crafted in India! However, it was so worth it because when it arrived my husband and I were delighted at the quality of our beautiful Ballina kingsize in Ivory gloss! This bed is heavy, solid and looks stunning, we are so grateful to find The Original Bedstead Company, it’s far superior to other brands we looked at and I believe a very fair price was paid for our bespoke beauty 🙏 Janie”

“Love it, i used the high high settings on the bed frame and with a deep matris it comes almost up to my hip standing next to it (floor to top of Matris around 72cm). I can hop on and dangle my legs of the side, prettend i'm a 5 year old again for a short while, yippy. i feel so high all the time laying down its odd going from floor to fram hight. The frame is sturdy and doesnt make and creaking sounds. nice to look at. Plenty of storage underneath as well, with 38cm clearance floor to rail using the high holes it was easy to aseemble on my own using some strategically placed boxs at the right hight. The sales team were helpfull and quick resonding to queries and in one instance very polite in directing me to some items which were in front of me the whole time, (doh! Rule 1) always unpack everything first!). I have and would recomened to others in future if they are interested in a metal framed bed with wood slats. A big thank you to the OBC team”

“The ordering process was very simple and the gentlemen who made what was not a straight forward delivery were very helpful and efficient, I was kept informed throughout. The assembly instructions were clear, the only step that wasn't was the fixing positioning of the centre cross strut beneath rather than on top of the frame, this only became apparent when putting in the wooden slats but was easily remedied (maybe the illustration could be tweaked?). I would say it is defo a two person job although I managed most of it on my own. The bed is excellent quality and very comfortable from the first night's sleep; there is something about climbing up into bed that feels supremely luxurious.”

“The bed is beautiful and was easy to put together. I’m really pleased with it. Unfortunately it isn’t in my room! I have slept in it and found that the mattress is incredibly comfortable. Very pleased and would definitely recommend. Thank you!”

“Slightly nervous in purchasing a bed without actually seeing the quality for myself but i can honestly say I am over the moon with this bed. True description, easy purchase, friendly quick delivery. Super quality, strong sturdy beautiful bed need i say more.”

“We ordered the Solomon double bed in satin white and are really pleased with both the look and quality. It feels really solid and well made. It was easy to put together and has different height options. I like the fact it doesn't have a central support underneath as this makes for more storage and looks much better. Communication with OBC was good and delivery as arranged. All in all cannot fault the product or service and am happy to recommend this company and product.”

“We’re very happy with my daughters big girl bed, one of the biggest attractions to this particular company was the range of colours of bed frames, the white metal frame looks clean and crisp. It also fits a standard single mattress, all in all delighted with the bed frame!”
