“The 5 stars are solely for the bed and the assembly of the bed. As far as the customer service I was very disappointed. I ordered the bed in July last year and due to an error by the company, my bed was only delivered and assembled in December. As yet I haven't had an apology or any form of compensation.”

“Very happy with our new bed, delivered quicker than expected and simple to put together, although did need two of us. Very sturdy bed and comfortable mattress, also ordered under bed drawers which are a good size and concealed underneath so don’t effect the look. Exactly what we wanted!”

“Delivery was prompt and when expected. Bed was well-packaged. Instructions were very easy to follow. I live in an old property and never buy new; I love old and vintage furniture, as original as possible, but I couldn't find a suitable bed for the spare room that wasn't crazy money. I took a risk with an iron bed from the Original Bed Company as I could return it within 30 days: I was afraid it would look cheap and brassy, like a fake old bed. I needn't have worried; I love it! The quality is impressive, it is authentic to the era and I am so pleased with it. So pleased that I am saving up to replace my own bed with another exactly the same.”

“After years of continually repairing the slats on sub £350 frames and tightening loose screws and bolts, only to find that the bed frames over a few years lose ridgity and support we started exploring higher price brackets. We decided we wanted to find a sprung slat base that had quality, elongevity and aesthetics. The one main priority in the search was a company that had done away with the plastic slat supports that always break and the slats ride all over the place. After much searching and disappointing results where other more expensive frame companies still used inferior plastic fitments. On the OBC site looking closely at the pictures we felt sure they had a better system, appearing to be metal supports welded to the frame. I feel OBC OUGHT PROMOTE THIS ELEMENT MORE EFFECTIVELY ON THEIR WRITE UPS. We ordered the Selkirk kingsize bed frame a juno wool mattress to suit before Christmas 2021. With the no quibble guarantee return policy, we had nothing to loose! They even reassured us the mattress could be used without the polythene cover, and still qualify for return. The frame arrived in perfect condition and the delivery staff were most cordial and helpful. The frame went together very easily and was so stable and looked beautiful. The mattress looks great, was spotless and excellent depth. The retro stripe look is great, but who cares, I sleep on top of the sheets 😂😂😂🍷nice tho.... The adjustable height is great, as I've got it high for storage underneath and feel like a kid sitting on the edge of the bed with feet swinging... Kool... The mattress is firm enough and soft enough! Or should I say perfect, supportive, sumptuous and again takes me back to being a kid again, when I loved the feel and comfort of my bed. All in all I won't be returning either, so sorry to those who wanted a returns bargain! Lol.... Thank guys and gals at OBC, your great, the products great and the delivery was great. And of course the return policy is great if your crazy enough not to keep it. But please OBC sell the fitment of the slats, separate detailed photos and write up! It's a game changer !!! 🥃🍷🍷🥃😎”

“Delivered as arranged. No problem to assemble, but there were two of us. It is a heavy, solid and good quality bed. It has two height settings, I had it on the highest initially but have now had it lowered. It is a very comfortable bed and I would purchase from 'The Original Bed Company' again. I love it!***********”

“Spent an awful lot of money on a 'Hicks Blue' Ashley metal bed frame. Colour is gorgeous, but workmanship is poor. Some of the pieces have been cut at slight angles, meaning the frame doesn't fit together flush, isn't entirely level on floor and squeaks. Really disappointed! Wouldn't buy from them again.”
