“The matress is fabulous no more back pain. Delivered within the week . It was a firm superking and took about a week for the smell of the natural products to fade but I quite enjoyed the smell like being on a farm .. I would recommend this matress .”

“Great company to deal with, everything was really easy and straightforward. The mattress is lovely and reminds me of my bed when I was a child with the lovely striped material. It’s firm but very comfortable. The bed frame is lovely too. The bed was easy to put together as well. Highly recommend the company, the bed and the staff who I dealt with. Thank you so so much.”

“Although the bed and mattress are lovely, the instructions were shoddy and not well laid out. The photocopy was difficult to read. The instructions to fit the underbed drawer, required dismantling of the previously built frame to fit it. These instructions could be improved dramatically. One of our bolts got double threaded and jammed. Luckily we decided to lower the frame, so we ended up not using that bolt hole in the end.”

“I treated myself to a new bed and decided upon an OBC frame. I’m so happy with it. I built it myself, just me and the instructions, I managed ok surprisingly. The instructions were easy to follow. I must say I love it, it’s so sturdy I don’t ever think I’ll need another frame. I love the way it looks, it’s a classic design and I got mine in black, so it’ll fit any room colour, which was a must as I decorate every few years. I love it and it wasn’t expensive either. So happy with the quality and would recommend this company to anyone. Also the delivery was on time, with two polite friendly guys placing the parcels in my living room ready for me to unpack. Loving my new bed.”

“I recently purchased a Waterford king size brass bed and a glen holm double bed for my daughters bedroom. These beds are total quality and are absolutely stunning! I have had a single bed from the original bed company a few years back and thought it was amazing quality and that’s why I bought the other 2 beds mentioned. I would totally recommend this company if you’re looking for quality and a beautiful bed. I just love my brass bed 👍 10/10”

“The online descriptions are very accurate of the bed and mattress, which are just perfect, both sturdily made. The bed replaces an original Victorian one I lent out years ago and sadly never got back, but it is a lovely replacement, easy to put together and very sturdy. The mattress is properly made and very comfortable. Don't be fooled by cheap offers, this is a real mattress at a very good price.”

“I have ordered a bed frame and mattress from the Original Bed Company. I was happy with the bed frame but wished to exchange the mattress for another one. The exchange was arranged quickly and without any problems. However, since then I have contacted the customer service several times by email to process the refund of the difference in price (the second mattress was cheaper) and I have not heard back yet about my refund (during the sale process the reply to my email was prompt). This has certainly spoiled my experience with the company”

“Excellent service, my daughter and I put the bed together and thank goodness the delivery guys took the mattress up our stairs as so heavy. All superb quality and would definitely recommend this company and product.”

“Product quality excellent, service not so. I had one query overy my delivery, made a call. Whoever dealt me was dismissive and patronising, had all the customer skills of an angry wasp. Great product by the way, just don't expect good service if you have a problem.”

“Two single Beds and mattresses delivered on time We did have a slight fault with one bed slat. When I telephoned to discuss they were quick to act and send out a replacement. Beds look great and mattresses are super comfy We will definitely order the King size version too as the new beds show up our other old divans !”

“This is our third bed from The Original Bed Company, and we were as delighted by it as we were with the previous two. Our only disappointment was that it had to be bought in something of a hurry and sadly we could not have one with brass trimmings as that would have taken too long.”
