Easy to book, appointments have run on time, thorough check and good advice given, reports arrive by email quickly, showing medical info and photos including close ups of anything requiring closer examination. I found myself having been reassured by making the effort to go and get my moles checked at age 52.

Staff were very courteous and professional, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The nurse carrying out my appointment explained every stage and was very informative. Results came back very fast, by email and with a follow up phone all. I can't fault the service. A very positive experience.

A comprehensive check conducted with more time and skill than a GP could manage. The reassurance and a plan of care meant that it was money well spent. Really pleased I took the time.

I had a concern about a mark on my skin and visited the Mole Clinic at the recommendation of a friend. The clinic was very welcoming, and I was seen on time and by a very friendly clinician who explained all I needed to know about taking care of my skin and what to look for to detect potential skin cancer. My result was all clear - and I received my results by email the next day. I am really pleased I visited to get peace of mind and good advice.

I received a thorough check of all moles & suspect skin lesions, putting my mind at rest regarding some concerns, as I am a redhead with fair skin & have been sunburnt badly when younger. A detailed report including photos was received the same day. I will be having annual checks to monitor any developments. Highly recommended

The way the feedback was delivered to me the next day was, I thought not really good. I have a mole on my arm that needs looking at but when the nurse telephone to give feedback I was not available. As soon as I could I returned the call but was told no one was available to speak to me. Consequently we kept missing each other so I was left with a message and e.mail with my results !! I find this unacceptable considering the seriousness of the check!!!

I was very impressed with the whole experience. The booking process was easy and I was able to secure an appointment within the same week. The practitioner was thorough, put me at ease and explained everything very clearly. My results were back before I had left the clinic. This is such an easy check to have that I would encourage everyone to make the most of this service.

Easy on-line booking system and email confirmation. My second annual visit and received a timely reminder to book. On arrival Reception friendly and efficient and the whole body check carried out very thoroughly by the nurse. I also used the Telederm process and the results of that and the Clinic's report came through very promptly and well within the anticipated timescale. I have and would recommend the services of The Mole Clinic.

Excellent, commonsense advice. And a very reassuring approach - as someone with a lot of moles, I am nervous about having them checked - but it definitely makes sense to do this. Would highly recommend.

I am afraid that whilst Anna was very professional I was not at all impressed with what you actually got for the large sum of money I paid. I was expecting a full body scan where all of my moles were recorded and measured so if I came again you would be able to see if any had grown. I had one that needed further investigation for which I was charged an additional fee for a mole to be photographed on an iphone (!) and which was then stated to have a secondary diagnosis of melanoma. I called my insurers only to be told that Dr Gittins who was the person who did the 'in-depth' inspection of the mole was not a recognised dermatologist and that I needed to go to my GP for a referral. This I did yesterday and the minor surgeries surgeon had a look at it and said it most certainly wasn't suspected melanoma but because that was what your report stated he couldn't remove it if I wanted it to be removed. In essence I feel like I have wasted £170 on a 30 minute consultation which has given me no value whatsoever.

Thank you for reviewing our service. Our MOLECheck service is advertised as a 'top to toe' assessment of all your moles by a screening nurse to identify any suspect for skin cancer - a highly effective initial step for skin cancer detection. Our TELEDerm service uses an iPhone camera and compatible Dermatoscope to capture a high quality image beneath the surface of a suspect lesion - a highly effective second step in skin cancer detection. TELEDerm images are diagnosed by GMC registered GPs, who are also skin and dermoscopy specialists, and their reports are accepted by major insurers as a referral to a dermatologist - your insurer should not therefore have requested an additional referral by your GP. A 'secondary diagnosis' of melanoma means that a lesion is unlikely to be melanoma, but melanoma cannot be ruled out and the lesion should therefore be examined and possibly excised by a dermatologist. Our aim is to meet or exceed our client's expectations, and we achieve this for the vast majority of our clients, so I do hope the above helps clarify matters for you. If you require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards, Iain Mack, Founder & MD.

This is the 2nd time that I have attended the Mole Clinic. They have had a technical update since my last visit and had no details for me. However, I completed the questionnaire which is very easy and the few minor details were asked of me in a professional way. The young lady doing the actual checking is very professional also. The main reason for attending the Mole Clinic is 'Peace of Mind.' Not just from my own personal point of view - I lived in South Africa for 8 years - but also because my female neighbour - who has never stepped outside of the U.K. - has Melanoma and had one mole on her nose removed and a mole on her back removed - the surgeons had to go down about 1 and half inches and she was incapacitated for 3 months - no lifting etc. It is recommended that you have a check each year but even if you check every 2 years - you really should attend to check all of your moles. All my moles and sun spots were O.K. by the way - so something less to worry about. June.x.

When anxious after noticing a mole which seemed to have changed or just appeared the most important thing was to get it seen by experts as soon as possible. This was achieved by hearing about the mole clinic, who then gave me an appointment.I also went on the waiting list for a cancellation, which I got for the following day. My results were incredibly quick . A very worthwhile clinic and a very pleasant office.
